Does this case have hard drive and or power leds to indicate power on and hard drive activity?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this case has these LEDs.  They're on top of the case (directly above the USB connectors).  The power button lights up red when the computer is powered on.  The HDD LED is to the right of the power button.

Question 2

I have an extra 200mm fan that I tried to install next to the pre-installed 200mm fan. Success, but I cannot put the panel back into locking place. If I have x2 200mm fans on top, am I supposed to leave the fans exposed leaving the panel off?

I am not sure as to what the problem may be but if the top panel wont fit 2 200mm fans may be to much. I am using water cooling and there was not room for the 200mm fan so I moved it to the side panel and mounted it to pull air in. Good luck.

Is this case only can use the power 750W?

I have an 950W power supply so I know it will take just about any standard power supply.

What is X-Dock?

They are two 3.5"/2.5" docks that slide into the front panel. You insert your drives into these docks and push them into the slots. They automatically engage the power and data connectors when you latch them home.

Question 5

Why are there rubber outlets in the upper-rear of the case?  They are similar to those on the inside that are for wire management.  What would be put through them?

Not entirely sure, but I think this is for water lines if you were using an external water cooling setup.

When will you have the Cooler Master haf xm cases back in stock? And at what price?

Cooler Master says in their forums that they have discontinued it.  I have this case and it is pretty good, although it is quite large for Mid Tower case.

The downside for the case is it is not as good as their HAF X case -- which I also have.

I currently have 6 WD Enterprise drives in a RAID 6 and in the summer when the ambient temps here in CA was around 35-36 C the drives were going into 45-47 C which would eventually fried the drives so I had to employ a lot better (and louder) fans to fix it.

So I would say the high airflow has its limits.  Of course I also have a RAID card that gives off a lot of heat as well as an EVGA GTX 970 card.

My HAF X case actually has 8 WD enterprise drives and the temps on the drives never got more than 38-39 C.  I would say the HAF X is a lot better if you are concerned about high temp problems.

If you really just want a good airflow and low noise mid tower case get one of the Fractal Design cases especially the R4 series.

Is there an opening in the motherboard tray for the 8 pin CPU cable?

Remove the case panel covering the cable management area.  In the uppermost right corner there is a square opening that might accept the CPU cable connector.  However, a case fan installed in that area presents an obstacle.  I routed the CPU power cable through the lowermost grommet of the motherboard tray, up the back of the tray, back through the uppermost grommet and over to the CPU header.  That required the addition of an extension cable to cover the distant to the CPU header.

What is the air flow of included fans?

Since I am not a gamer and don't require maximum cooling, I set my fans to provide positive pressure within the case to minimize dust collection.

Question 10

Does the Glacer 240L cooler fit in this case without interfering with the mainboard?

This is the largest roomiest Mid case on the market. It's basically a small full tower. You should be good.
