Pros: 1: Love the looks. sleek and stealthy looking. 2: Very easy to build in. Computer almost built itself and the layout is well thought out. 3: Love the modular design. I only use SSD's these days so I removed all the drive cages and mounted the 2.5" drives behind the motherboard. Resulted in a clean look with great airflow. 4 This is described as a mid-tower however it has a lot of space. 5: Build quality is excellent. Has a solid feel to all components.

Cons: 1: One comment I can come up with is I would like to see more accessories. I would love to get a tempered glass side panel and some water cooling support. 2: I installed a water cooling loop. I encountered one issue and that was when I installed a bay reservoir the case really has no way to secure it. The bays don't even have holes for mounting screws.I like tool less but it hurts nothing to have the holes if I don't need or use the tool less system.

Overall Review: I migrated my system from a Corsair Air 540 case, a well reviewed piece of hardware, into this one. I found the Mastercase to be superior in every way. Not only is it well thought out, but the construction and implementation of the design exceeded the 540 in my opinion. Kudos for including 5.25" Drive Bays also. I know the trend is to omit them (I didn't install an optical drive either), however they're very handy for other peripherals. I would highly recommend this. One of the best cases I've owned.

Pros: -AWESOME Mid-Tower Case - best ever made to date by mankind. -FAN/LED Controller: Skeptical? NO reason to be. NOT proprietary (like Corsair) – uses the industry standard 3-pin fan connectors. The included 140mm fans (3) meet this standard. Same goes for LED lights. Has separate light and fan speed buttons on front panel. Not in instructions: powered by SATA cable, be sure to connect one to the controller before putting all your panels back on. -Comes with a magnetized red led tube light, nice to get you started with, really bright, and breathing effect is cool. -Routing was clean and a breeze. -Everything was thought of in this design, magnetized front and top panel covers-great for normal operating times. I call it going into stealth mode. -Design separates PSU and my HD Drive from main components -Front Panel comes off and on easily. Also, simply tilts forward to quickly access the two front drive spaces (CD) if installed. -Exceptional Quality.

Cons: -ZERO. -NONE. -NADA. -Doesn’t randomly transform itself into an Autobot like in those movies.

Overall Review: Pro tip: Go CPU Water Cooler as well. I used the back fan mount for a single radiator, then you could use that stock rear140mm fan to mount on one of the top optional fan locations. This equals 2 air intake fans at the front, CPU cooler pulls in from the rear, 140mm fan (or 2 if you buy another) pulls out the top. Building a new gaming rig, I originally went with the Corsair 500R, an OK case, but once finished I had a lot of negative feelings towards it as seen in my review there. With this new case from Cooler Master, all my expectations were exceeded. This case tops all Mid-towers - #1 hands-down. I have never fallen in love with a computer case before - this one stole my heart. Cheers!

Pros: -Simple yet not boring exterior, sleek and angled design that isn't boring while not being too flashy like normal "gaming" cases -large side panel displays components well, although some interior lights would help, it is a little dark and reflective -very sturdy construction, all the parts, which are very customizable in location, lock very well into place, however you decide to assemble it -very modular, adjust layout however you'd like -lots of fan filters - the abundant use of thumb screws that stay with the parts is very helpful -assembly is easy, lots of room when working, front and top fully come off, so building doesn't feel cramped. lots of spots for zap straps and twist ties

Cons: -some of the panels, for example the side and top, and front and front i/o panels on my case, don't line up quite as smoothly as i like. Not too bad, just a bit more of a gap or overhang than id like

Overall Review: -not saying its any better for this than any other case, but it's very easy to make clean. cable management is a dream with my corsair semi modular power supply, and it can be set up to display your parts very well. for examples, being able to display my ssds on top of their brackets on the removable power supply basement divider is a lovely touch

Pros: -The way the case is held together by magnets is fantastic, doesn't seem like the integrity of them is going to falter anytime soon. -Everything is thumb screws, and the side access panels' thumbscrews do not fully come out, which is great if you have a tendency to normally drop the screw behind your desk or other inconvenient place. -It's nice to pop up the front and the top for extra cooling, the feeling is comparable to rolling down the car windows to get some fresh air. Though if you have all five fans installed it's hardly necessary. -Cable management is easy and the backside has a great strap track to route your cables along. -The 2 slot and 3 sot HDD cages it comes with are easy to move, sturdy, and versatile. It feels great to be able to remove them entirely, along with the dual Disk Drive Cage. -Fan installation is also versatile, in the sense that you can slide the fans back and forth to avoid other hardware before tightening down the screws. -SSD holders are nice looking, and simple to use or removed if you don't use them. -The divider between the PSU and MOBO is solid and keeps the case looking clean in combination with the tinted bottom section of the window. -A LED light strip is included and works great. Chances are if you have a small room, you can use it to light the entire place up. Alternatively, if you like to sleep with the lights off, it's a simple matter of not plugging it in (sadly, you can not turn it off and on via software, as it is connected directly to the PSU)

Cons: -The dust covers are not magnetized, which was a shame but just as easy to snap out and clean. -The side access panel thumbscrews do not thread back in properly, it's very unsatisfying to feel like the hole isn't lined up when it actually is and you cant take the screw all the way out to verify you aren't just going mad. -Biggest Con (and really the only real con) - More HDD cages and Disk Drive cages. It would be great to have extra cages to swap around to conform to how many drives you have. The cost of another triple HDD cage on Cooler Master's website is outrageous with tax and shipping applied. It would also be nice to have the option of 1, 2, and 3 slot Disk Drive Cages.

Pros: - For someone that wants the features and size of a larger case, but doesn't want their Micro-ATX board to look out of place in a big motherboard slot, this really fits the bill. - Comes with two 140mm fans installed, where most cases come with 120's. - Modular systems works well, especially when I needed more room to work during install. - Cable management is fantastic for a Micro-ATX case, with nice rubber grommets and velcro straps for cables. - Power supply shroud (more like a divider), which is hard to find in a Micro-ATX case. - Little things like captive thumb screws and hard plastic filters are done well.

Cons: - Even though there is a slot for a 5.25" in the front, you can't put an optical drive in, only a fan controller. This seems like something Cooler Master could have easily allowed for. - Very heavy and the dimensions are huge for a Micro-ATX case, which may not be a con for some people.

Overall Review: - If you want a large case that is just meant for Micro-ATX motherboards, then this will be great for you. However, if you are going with Micro-ATX to save on space, this is NOT the case for you. This case is huge. I replaced my old Mid Tower Full ATX case with this one, and this case dwarfs my old case. This is essentially a large Mid Tower case, that simply holds a small motherboard. The size of this case allows for great cable management, large GPU's, and a bunch of cooling options. This was the main selling point for me, as it is hard to find Micro-ATX cases that have the space and features the ATX cases have. Keep this in mind if you plan on purchasing this.

Pros: Great finish, paint seems resilient. Strong sturdy frame. LOTS of potential as a case for water cooling, tons of room for fans, stands to keep it off the ground (even for carpet), enough height clearance for just about any CPU rad (my 212 EVO fit no problem with room to spare), modular design for moving HDD brackets incrementally means tons of room for cards and plenty of airflow (and I mean TONS of airflow, my GPU temps dropped 20C with this guy! Superb!), has two slots for 5.25 drives (or fan controllers. Seems to be a rarity in new cases being released now a days), love the removable bracket for the PSU (makes removing fully modular PSUs for replacement a breeze especially if you love your cables), tons of room for cable management (you literally need 0 skill to tuck away cables, you have a whole 2 or 3 inches of room between the mobo backplate and the side panel), huge cutout behind cpu socket for enormous backplates so no need to ever worry about that, love the styling of the SSD 2.5 brackets which allow you to hide ugly SSDs or show of your pretty ones or hell even do both. Easily removable tool-less grates EVERYWHERE my god does this make cleaning easy. Comes with amazing fans with great airflow, quiet, and stealthy look means I am definitely keeping them unlike loads of other included case fans which can barely keep up with extreme loads. Love how theres a catch on every door, bracket, cover and screw. No more accidental dropping of parts for me! Comes with standoffs for a fan hub if you desire to install one in the future. Comes with tons of screws all painted black like the case and a metal standoff tightening tool (keeping this forever). Love the handles since I need to carry my case up and down my stairs every month to clean it, so much easier and much more secure. Very competitive pricing at 120 bucks for the Mastercase pro 5, including 3 140mm fans, top rad chamber, acrylic windowed side panel, 2 SSD brackets and all the HDD brackets you could ever desire even for a server. Even comes with 2 reusable ties for cable management (I don't know why people keep complaining for more they give you 2 pre applied and 2 more that you can position anywhere you'd like. More then enough, especially since PSUs and Mobos come with them now a days). Love the huge window to show off all my expensive parts including my PSU (or hide it with the black plastic cover which I think is far better then just not having the option. Gives you the ability to install the PSU and cages from one side without flipping the case too unlike the Phanteks and NZXT shrouds).

Cons: No options for different colors (yet! I'm sure most people like myself don't care at all since most parts match black anyways). Cables for the case fans are notoriously short which isn't hard to fix. Front I/O panel bothers me in that it only has 2 USB 3.0s and the LED is White of all colors on the 5 and Pro 5. You can get the Maker 5 if this is a huge deal breaker for you though or i believe they sell the Maker's front I/O panel to swap it out. Maker 5 is definitely pricey though especially considering it does not come with the tempered glass side panel. The 5 is overpriced considering all it DOESN'T come with so I figured it was only logical to go with the Pro 5 since I don't need a front intake cover, fan hubs are cheap, and the front I/O port definitely was not a deal breaker. Some people may prefer to have more then 2 pre applied cable ties in the back, doesn't bother me due to years of practice with cable management at home and for my job. Do wish the Pro 5 came with a fan hub considering the price tag.

Overall Review: Amazing case. Looking back at how fun this was to build, how many options I had, what it comes with, and how well it performed with airflow optimization, I'm so glad I made this choice. I was originally considering the enthoo evolv atx since I knew it is an amazing case, so glad I didn't considering the price, restrictions of choices with cooling options and drives, and airflow comparative to this case. Aluminum and color changing is nice but all that is just bling and I wanted performance. The Mastercase Pro 5 did just that and then some. It brought to the table everything I feel is important and has solved all the biggest issues with PC building along with so many accessories and options my biggest problem was keeping myself from moving everything inside around for fun. I'd recommend this case to anyone who cares about airflow, bang for buck, liquid cooling, spacing for large parts, or considering mobility and longevity. Always trusted Cooler Master to provide me with quality products, but this time they provided a truly unforgettable experience and a new beloved case that I'm sure will last far longer then anything I'd ever put into it (as well as empower me with the knowledge that it has the ability to provide me with anything I could possibly need in the foreseeable future). I look forward to seeing what accessories Cooler Master releases to the public to enhance this experience even further.

Pros: Definitely the easiest build I've ever done with this top of the line case. + Plenty of room for wiring, etc. + Sound-dampened front and top panels allow decent airflow + quiet, or you can easily pop them open for huge airflow. + Plenty of room for wire management behind motherboard tray with big cutout for easy cooler install + No sharp edges that I noticed; didn't cut myself once + All the panels, covers, filters, drive trays etc come out easily and go back in place solidly + Captive thumbscrews! + High quality fans included

Cons: There were only a few little problems: - Cooler Master doesn't seem to actually sell any of the accessories or add-ons advertised/implied for the MasterCase line. - With a 240mm top radiator installed, you can't fit a full sized optical drive in the top 5.25" slot - The thumbscrews are a little bit small and you'll need a screwdriver to loosen them the first time - Although individual screws were neatly sorted in a dozen tiny labeled bags, there weren't enough standoffs to mount a standard ATX board and I had to go scrounge one. I didn't have another black one! RAGE!! (j/k)

Overall Review: Great mid-tower case. Maybe the best mid-tower case. Except it's pretty expensive, so probably not the best value - there are a lot of pretty good cases you can get for less than half of the price of this one.

Pros: - Awesome case with plenty of space and plenty of customize friendly route. - Great cable management - Placement of HDD and SSD location is grand. You can literally mount SSD's in 3 different locations. - Nice airflow and with combination of cpu cooler and how the case is designed, I get idle temps about 25c for CPU and 28C for motherboard. Load temps at about 30-35c. Rarely goes to 40c. Of course your CPU type and set up will change this value. - I love the separation of PSU and the main components. Keeps temps separate and cables tidy. - Easy to remove side panels. - Handles to help you carry the tower. Very easy to move this big boy because it is heavy with all components inside. (Again, your results will vary based on PSU weight, GPU weight, etc. - Have 2 mechanical drives and 1 SSD installed into this case. 2HDD and optical drive on the very top corner so air flows through easily because you can remove the HDD cage! Love it!

Cons: Now for the cons... Coming from a CM Advanced II case, I have nothing really bad to say about this case. I upgraded to this tower because my CM Advanced II case was only USB 2.0 front panel. The airflow to my CM Advanced II case was awesome, but this one is even better. However, some of the screws to this case can be a bit janky, as the threads of the holes are either a bit loose or a bit too small. It is advertised as a tool free case but I had to use a screwdriver to remove some of the screws, unless of course I wanted to peel the skin off my fingers. Some screws didn't go in all the right way when putting it back on, again, could be janky holes, but not enough to take an egg as it just takes a little patience and work. Standoff screws and other screws: Some people were reporting that they didn't get standoff screws and I was a bit afraid to purchase this product solely because of this report. Coolermaster has done me well in the past but I've read some horror stories with this company so I was weary going in. Once I decided to take the jump and bought this case, I opened the package and realized that I did not see any packaging for screws and what not. I was really upset and freaking out because I could not find the packaging for the screws ANYWHERE! I was getting ready to use extra standoff screws from my previous case (CM Advanced II), but still upset and was about to give CoolerMaster hell about it, until I realized that I the standoff screws and all the other stuff was located inside one of the HDD cages! Total dunce hat moment and out loud called myself insulting names. I am not calling out to everyone who reviewed this case on NewEgg any names but I want to give other customers a notice. STAND OFF SCREWS ARE LOCATED IN ONE OF THE HDD CAGES! Do not think it didn't come any and start getting upset. It's hard to see because the box that the screws come in is black, interior is black, everything is black, and it's hard to see. Look hard inside one of the HDD cages. It is all inside! Now it would not have been an ideal location I would've put if I had a choice but breathe better knowing your screws are indeed inside the case. Besides this, I really have nothing bad to say about this case at all. CM did it again and despite all the bad things I read about CM and their customer service, I personally think they make some outstanding products.

Overall Review: Get this case, as it is future proof to the fullest degree. There are small things here and there that's annoying about this case but it is nothing to grumble over on a permanent basis. The fans inside (3) are quiet and runs your components really cool. The case itself looks awesome (like a stealth fighter), and the carrying handles at top makes moving this thing (when you absolutely have to) a breeze. Coming from a CM Advanced II, I love this case much better to be honest just because it is much easier to carry than my previous case.
