Is this keyboard compatible with Mac OS X?

It sure is! You may have to toggle the key rollover, but yes it will function perfectly fine for a Mac.

Why include a key puller if you are not including extra keys? I ordered this expecting the red keys like on the previous version.

The description clearly states that the keyboard displays WHITE LEDs with the Blue Cherry MX switches. Not sure why you were expecting anything different.
