Overall Review: For those who are confused about the fan controller not working: after about 5 minutes of staring at the connections, there's a 4-pin molex that is seperate from the others for the fan power, which is the power for the fan controller. Glad to help :)

Pros: I'll start off by saying this case has plenty of room. This was one of best mid-tower cases Newegg had listed that came with a slot to fit 3.5 drives on top. It seems to be solidly made with carrying handles built on top. However, since it starts off being nearly 30 pounds, I doubt anyone would be doing a lot of carrying with this. This case come preloaded with 4 Blue LED lights and has a fan control knob and convenient ports on top: 4 USB 2.0, eSata & Firewire. As for noise levels, I have it sitting about 15 inches from my arm and I can barely hear it. Even the XFX HD 6850 I have inside is relatively silent... and that card sounded like a lawnmower when I tried to use it in my previous computer. Once the motherboard is installed, most everything else is tool-less. Hard drives just pop into shells that slide down and lock into place. Never had anything that easy and simple.. and the gaps between the drives were huge... so you don't have to worry about drives being too close.

Cons: Now comes the bad news. The documentation is pretty worthless. When I opened up the case, I saw a ton of wires that were only partially labeled... and the instructions were not only vague but failed to say what plugs into what. I searched Google and Cooler Master's forums for instructions.. but all the info there was vague as well. Another problem I had was preparing the 3.5 faceplate cutout so I could install a card reader. There were no instructions on how to remove the inside of it. After examining it, I figured out you just put it out and break the tiny tabs on the sides. I wasn't sure and didn't want to break it since they charge about $20 for a replacement. The speed of the fans are controlled by the knob but if you shutdown your computer with them set to low they will have trouble spinning up on boot so you'll have to turn up the knob to get them started. That's basic physics and applies to almost all fans in the world.. so not really a con with this product.

Overall Review: Even though I've done tons of component upgrades, this was the first time I ever built a full system myself. I was fortunate not to have any problems other than deciphering the instructions for the wires. I will explain what you do to get the fans & LED's working. There is a 5 Molex daisy chain that you will notice. You do NOT do anything to them.. if you plug your power supply into them, the fans/light will come on but you will bypass the control knob & button. Look for THE SINGLE Male Molex (by itself) behind back panel near top. That is the ONLY plug that connects to PSU. That SINGLE plug gives power to both fan/lights and allows control panel to work. Now look for the long skinny wires that say Power, HDD, Reset (at tip) and plug that into your Front Panel Header on Motherboard to show drive activity, power light, etc. Then just plug the side fan from front cover you removed into daisy chain and one of the two long empty LED wires.. and those will work with everything else

Pros: Where do I start? 1) Excellent design, build, and quality. 2) Case Fan/Fan LED control from font panel is great and convenient! 3) *Plenty of USB 2.0/FW ports on front panel as well, along with headphone & MIC jacks. 4) Excellent, excellent air flow with 2ea 200mm intake fans, 1ea 200mm exhaust fan, and 1ea 120mm exhaust fan with quiet operation. There is also the bottom bracket (with mesh filter) for installing an optional 140mm fan, which draws in cool air from the bottom of the case, across your components, and up/through/out the top 200mm exhaust fan. 5) **Excellent cable management. 6) Mesh strategically placed throughout case to filter out as much dust as possible from getting inside the case & on your components. 8) I upgraded from an Antec 900, which I loved & was great for its time, but the Storm Sniper is leaps & bounds above it. It is very spacious & a dream to work with during the system build/upgrade, & plenty of space for the larger video cards (i.e. GTX 580).

Cons: 1) * My only hesitation with purchasing this case was due to the lack of USB 3.0 ports; however, the ASRock P67 Extreme6 comes with a front mountable (or rear) USB 3.0 panel (2ea. ports). One of the case's 5.25" drive bay mesh covers has a pop-out panel to accommodate a 3.5" diskette drive, which I used for the USB 3.0 panel that came with the ASRock P67 Extreme6 MB. BAM! Problem solved; now I have two USB 3.0 ports on the front of my Storm Sniper case. IMO, this is still the best case on the market all the way around! 2) Not a con, but this case can't be classified as a 'mid' tower - it is in between a 'mid' & 'full' tower, but closer to a ‘full’ tower. This thing is a beast, but not in a bad way, as it is very spacious to accommodate excellent airflow and room to work during system build/upgrades. 3) No slide-out/removable fan filter for PSU when it is mounted with the fan face-down. This would have finished off the case design perfectly!

Overall Review: ** Some reviewers complained about the mess of wires coming from the front I/O panel coupled with all the other wires during the system build. Although I was eager & in a hurry to get my new system built and up & running, I still took my time & a methodic approach to it: What each wire was used for, where it needs to go, grouped them as necessary, & then routed them each accordingly from there. Walla! Now I have a clean build with all the wires routed & tied down on back panel & out of the way of airflow. Inside of the system looks neat & clean! Just take your time, think it out, & it will turn out great! Pros: -Even the screws are black -Excellent space behind the mobo allows for great cable management -Sideways HDD trays allow extra room in the case, with a 460GTX had PLENTY of room (4"+) -This case is really a mix between a mid-tower and a full tower. Next to a mid-tower, it looks huge. -I was worried about the bottom mounted PSU because I was planning to put this case on the carpet. There's plenty of room under the case (probably 2") so air flow being pulled into the PSU is not a problem -Thumb screws on BOTH sides to pull the panels off -Came with adapters so you can installed SSD drives -You can turn the blue LED's off if you want a less flashy case -There's fan speed control at the top, as well as 4 USB, esata, audio and a 1394 port -The back brackets that pop out when you install cards are good quality (vented), not cheap flimsy metal -The 5" bay covers pop out easily and are good quality -3 huge fans create a nice quiet case -Bottom legs adjustable/removable

Cons: -I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, everything about the case screams quality EXCEPT the fan control button. It's cheap plastic and when turning it just feels like poor quality. Not a big deal, but something to note. -No PC speaker, not a big deal as most mobo's now come with LED indication of error/post activities, but for those who are wanting a case with built in PC speaker, this one does not have one.

Overall Review: Overall, this is an extremely solid case. I picked the case because I was looking for something that was quality built, had plenty of room for big future GPU's, did not require tools, and wasn't as flashy as a lot of cases out there. I can safely say this case will last many years due to the quality, space, and design. If you're on the fence about spending a few extra bucks on this case vs. something else, spend the extra money and you will not be dissapointed.

Pros: *HUGE - Will take almost anything you throw inside of it. *SUPERB AIRFLOW - It's like a wind tunnel in my house. *EXPANDABILITY - More slots than I can fill, that's for sure. The possibilities for adding components is endless. *CABLE MANAGEMENT - So much room to neatly route all your wiring. Plenty of room because of the "bubbled" out case siding behind the motherboard. *FAN CONTROL - Being able to adjust your fan speeds on the fly via a knob on the case is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. *HARDWARE - Everything included with this is top quality. It comes with 6 SATA cables as well, so don't waste any money on them.

Cons: *FAN SETUP - Like others have mentioned, making all the fans power up takes a little time to figure out, but it's really simple if you don't over complicate it. *HUGE - Also like others have mentioned, this is not a mid-tower case. I like it how it is, so it's not necessarily a con, but others need to check the dimensions before ordering.

Overall Review: Overall, I am very pleased with this case. Aesthetically pleasing, and does everything I need it to do and more. You will not be disappointed with this case, I guarantee it. Pros: Cooling. This is an ice-cold running case. There are fans everywhere. Some the size of small attic fans. They keep your components dead cold. Tool less for the most part inside.

Cons: This case is huge. Mid tower is somewhat of a misnomer, this should be in the full-tower class. Terrible instructions, you are on your own here. You can figure most everything out. All the fans are wired to the case, you give them power with one molex lead from your PS. You motherboard may have several fan leads, these won't be used, so you will no longer have fan feedback from your motherboard. This could be a problem for some, but the case runs so cold, you really don't need to monitor the temperature.

Overall Review: I took an egg off, for the lack of documentation.

Pros: I purchased this case after watching the 3dgameman video review (google it). The case lived up to my expectations after watching that review and overall I'm happy with it.

Cons: Two of the special features about this case are: you can turn the lights on & off and you can adjust the fan speed. For extra cooling, you can purchase additional fans for the side and bottom of the case. You should be warned that only specific coolermaster fans support the light on/off toggle and I could not find any US stores selling these fans. The models are: R4-L2S-12FB-GP (120mm On/Off) and R4-LUS-10AB-GP (200mm On/Off). The CM Storm forums are full of complaints about this and they appear to have been out of stock for several months. In addition, you should know that these features of the fans do not work with the computer's SLEEP mode (since the fans are not plugged into the motherboard). When your computer goes into power-save mode, the fans and lights will remain on.

Pros: This is a great looking case for my gaming rig. I also purchased the side window panel for it from the manufacturer.

Cons: The front panel problem described by other reviewers is very real and occurs constantly. I found these reviews while trying to troubleshoot the problem myself. I had been attributing this to an issue with the USB ports on the front panel, but as another reviewer notes, I just duplicated the problem by simply touching the front panel with my finger. Any contact with the front panel can result in reboot of the PC.

Overall Review: I will be replacing this case ASAP to avoid damaging other parts of my gaming PC. I regret my purchase of this otherwise nice case. My previous experiences with Cooler Master cases have been very good, and this is a big disappointment.
