Does this version come with a backlit spacebar?  I've noticed that some sites with the same model (CH-9000116-NA) have pictures with and without the backlit spacebar.

No it does not. To be more precise it has LEDs behind the spacebar but there is no clear spot for the light to shine through on the keycap that was provided.

No, this is a wired keyboard.  A somewhat thick cable as it has 2 USB connections. One is for the keyboard and the other for the USB port on the keyboard itself.  So you'd need to plug into 2 USB ports on your computer.

I've not tried the USB connection on the keyboard itself yet. I suppose you could plug in a USB mouse into it or storage device, etc.
