Pros: Aluminum construction is very sturdy
Keys are clicky and loud
Cons: I bought this to annoy my coworkers and then coronavirus made me work from home so now I just annoy my family instead.
Overall Review: I will definitely purchase another corsair keyboard in the future.
Pros: - Clicky
- Endless RGB possibilities
- Compact form
- Aluminum frame feels nice and sturdy
- Scroll wheel for volume is nice
- Palm rest is actually nice (didn't plan to use it, but now I can't not use it)
- Great support from Corsair
- USB port at back of keyboard is very handy
Cons: - Palm rest looks cheap
- Space bar would feel better with MX Greens
Overall Review: Great beginner mechanical keyboard. Compliments other Corsair products and works great with iCUE. Palm rest looks cheap compared to the rest of the keyboard, but it's actually pretty nice.
USB port at back of keyboard is super handy - I use for my Corsair headphones which I have to unplug and put away every time after use (my dogs like eating expensive headphones.)
I have no regrets going with MX Blues. They feel very nice, but the space bar would've been better as MX Green.
Pros: Easy fast set up
Beautiful high quality materials
Overall Review: Beautiful and functional. I'm a content creator and this board plus the wrist rest is great for long days at your desk.
The ability to control the rgb and make it match my rig is great. I have an MSI board and some rgb in my rig is controlled by mystic light. I have icue installed as well for my fans and now this board. So far 99% of the time that works fine but occasionally mystic light grabs the keyboard band I have to control the lights through MSI. Not a huge deal to me and wouldn't be a problem if you only have icue running for rgb.
I enjoy the tactile nature of mx blue keys and this hits the spot. Easy to replace the key caps with the little pack of different ones in the box meant for keys commonly used when gaming.
Pros: - Awesome switches, very tactile and feel great.
- Sounds great!
- Build quality seems really good. Feels solid and well made.
- Textured spacebar is a really nice touch.
- Extra buttons are nice.
Cons: - The iCUE software is really, really bad. Fortunately, you don't need to run it if you don't care about not having the keys lit.
Overall Review: Overall, this is a great keyboard. Feels and sounds fantastic, great tactile MX-blue keys. It's well made, the layout is good, the extra buttons are minimal and useful (and of good quality), and I love the textured spacebar key (it's a new thing for me, and I like the feel of it).
The only downside is the horrible config software (iCUE). Every single manufacturer out there forces users to use terrible config software, so it's nothing new. It's better than the Logitech horrorfest, and the keyboard is better than the Logitech MX-blue alternative I had for 3 months before the switches started breaking down. But it's still pretty awful.
Overall Review: - Fun lighting stuff.
- Solid build.
- If you love typing feedback, the Cherry Blues are great.
- Volume knob and media keys have a solid feel to them.
- Included textured QAWSEDRF keys are a nice addition for FPS/MOBA players.
Pros: Yes the Cherry Blues are super clicky, ol skool style. Led Lighting is very bright at the highest setting, but dimmable to your comfort level. Ultta responsive feedback as well
Cons: Very loud clicky, but that is what Blues are for...Maybe one step down (noise wise) would be better, but I still like the tactile feel.
Seems difficult to see secondary function or symbol on keys when using a darker lighting effect. Also they are on the bottom of the key, not the top that my eyes have been looking at for 40 years. Have to really look hard when shifting of FN
Overall Review: Highly recommend keyboard to anyone, pick your own key style
Pros: Mechanical, customizable, stiff keys and stiffer keyboard. Sounds so satisfying to type on.
Cons: Expect it to be a loud keyboard and if you have coworkers, they may not like hearing it.
Overall Review: I am not a fan of mx browns, they feel too mushy. I also hate typing on linear switches so blues are the only choice; I just wish stores stocked them so I wouldn't have to wait for shipping.
Pros: - The blue switches have great feedback and a nice clicking sound.
- Keyboard is comfortable to use
- Colors display very well.
Cons: - My main complaint is that I wish it was possible to set the keyboard to a static color scheme. Kind of weird to me that is not an option since you know it can do like 3 different color gradient modes.
Overall Review: Yes, especially if you were using an older Corsair keyboard this is strictly an upgrade from that.
