what is the vertical range of movement? basically, I'm trying to see if i can use it for stand up/sit down desk by alternating the working position.

Does this arm also go down? The photos only show the second segment tilting upward. I understand the vertical movement range or "lift" is 13" but I'd like to understand if that is only from a position straight out from the mount - upwards or both up AND down?  Thanks

it does go up and down, about the same distance from straight out before hitting a stop.

Question 3

My 22" monitor weighs just over 6lbs (2.8kg) and most of these height-adjustable wall mounts require a certian amount of counter weight (in the form of your monitor) to hold the monitor at the desired height. This and a previous one I bought and returned say the minimum is 7lbs.  Is that true for this model also?  I'm having a hard time finding a wall mount for a lighter monitor...

I have successfully used  both a 6 and 6.5 lb monitor with this mount. While the specifications say 7 lbs. ,  There is a tension adjustment at will allow you to counterbalance the monitor with as little as 6 lbs.  The tools needed to adjust the arm tension are included in the box.

I have installed more than 10 of these arms.

These are measurements to screw plate, not the front of the monitor.

fully extended with the arm horizontal: 25 1/2"

with the arm angled as high as it will go: 23

with the arm angled as low as it will go: 22

Can this arm be use to hold dual monitor?

Do you have a single arm wall mount like this one that will hold dual 19" monitors

Look at the Ergotron website. Products, wallmounts. They make a different model for dual monitors 45-231-200. Newegg carries this. I bought two of the singles so they could be independtly positioned, had I seen this other one I might have bought it instead. No complaints with what I purchased. Well made. Lots of adjustment.

It's both 75 x 75 and 100 x 100.

Awesome mount too.  I have a 27" LG 2560 x 1440 mounted on it and it's pretty freakin smooth.   I love it and would definately buy it again.

The arm extends up to 25" from the wall.  In addition, Ergotron sells an extension arm to add an additional 12" if needed.  (Ergotron part number 45-289-026)

as long as there is the ability to fasten the back of the notebook tray w/ imbedded screw threads .. simply put .. some monitors have the screw holes on the back of them to hang up and others do not
