Pros: I have owned and used a IPAD 1st Gen, Nexus 7, Samsung Tab 3, and a B&N Nook HD Plus that I rooted to 4.3.1. I have enjoyed each of these and consider myself a high techie user of tablets. I ordered the LG G Pad 10.1 as a secondary tablet and was a little concerned that I may not like it due to the screen resolution and motherboard chip. However, after getting this and playing with it, it is the best tablet I've used or owned. Yes, I can get a faster tablet and better screen resolution on some of the others, but you'd pay for it. The combination of the hardware, software and price makes this a clear winner of all I've owned. For $199, you get a great tablet. I was very impressed with the ability to control my tv from the tablet and I was able to easily set up controls for 4 different rooms with cable boxes, Blurays, and 4 different HDTV's. Another great software feature is the QPair. Syncing this tablet to my smartphone and I get all my texts and phone calls on my G Pad. Very useful. Call quality and reception was outstanding! Split screen is also very useful. Battery Life is also as advertised and is better than all tablets I've used.
Cons: None that I can think off.....
Overall Review: This is a great tablet for either a novice user or an experienced user and you'd be hard press to find a better 10 inch tablet.
Pros: Started out very good though only 1 gig of memory (RAM) seemed insufficient causing some lag. Great colors and the resolution is fine. Upgrade to Lollipop was automatic and seamless.
Cons: I bought it and reviewed it in August 2014 so it is just out of warranty. Since the warranty expired it has gone downhill! Freezing is common. If I play Words with Friends, for example, for a couple of hours it will freeze and become unreactive to screen touches and if I was moving a letter to play it the letter freezes where it is. This will happen 2 or 3 times in a 2 hour session. I get similar problems with other apps and websites. Very disappointing with the warranty just expired.
Overall Review: I will never recommend this model to anyone. Seems it's built to last the warranty period and that's it!
Pros: Bright and sharp screen. Colors are great. Fast response to touch. Battery life is fantastic. Accepts 32gb micro sd card. The backing is nice to hold. Not a lot of bloatware and you can uninstall most of it. Upgrades to Lollipop 5.0. Usb port is on the side of the tablet (easy to charge while holding it). It feels solid and is constructed well.
Cons: Maybe the speakers but I use headphones to watch movies. Speakers are good enough when I'm playing a game or surfing the web. It does not have HDMI, again this is not what I wanted it for, so no big deal to me.
Overall Review: This tablet gets a bad rap because of only having a 720p screen. I had tried a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1" and an Apple Ipad Air, before buying this. Honestly I don't see a difference in screen quality and I don't see any pixilation, at all. The screen is sharp and bright, a real pleasure to watch movies and play simple games. Haven't used this to play graphic intensive games, so I can't comment on that. For the price, you can't beat the quality and battery life of this unit.
Pros: I had a Galaxy Tab 3 before this tablet and this is much better. Awesome battery life and connects to bluetooth devices without a problem. Response time is quicker than the Tab 3 as well....now all I need is the upgrade to Android Lollipop and I am all set
Cons: None
Pros: The is an awesome tablet. Used to have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and compared to it the G Pad responds better. The battery life is very strong and it plays movies/shows well on Netflix and Hulu. I am very happy I took a chance on this tablet
Cons: When it comes to setting wallpaper on the lockscreen, it will only let me set a full picture in landscape mode instead of potrait mode. Not a big issue and I'm sure I will eventually find a work-around or simply get used to this. Still an awesome tablet otherwise
Pros: Screen is nice and readable, responsive for its resolution. I was worried buying a lower res 10.1 tablet I would not like the degradation in sharpness but it works very well. My other choice was a Samsung tablet but it was almost $150 more so I went for price. The knock on/off is very handy - I didn't think I'd like it but it works well.
Cons: Slow charging even with standalone charger Some Jerkiness with HD video/mpeg artifacting, but not much. Contrast is ok, with very dark video you'd want to bump up the brightness a lot. The back of the case feels rubbery and sticky. I added a slip sleeve type case to it to avoid this. Speakers in the back limit volume more than I'd like.
Pros: I use this for web an u-tube, an will eventually will do more with it,, but it's great,,, I've used it on an off all day,, an battery life hasn't been a problem,, runs fast, screen is clear,, an has a good solid feel to it,,, Haven't used the camera,, but didn't buy it for that,,
Cons: None
Overall Review: would recommend it to anyone,,
Pros: Bright screen Responsive Good speakers Lightweight android skin
Cons: Could use more RAM Low resolution No Software Updates yet
Overall Review: Pretty nice deal for the money. Good screen, just lackluster resolution. Has lightweight feel. Software is stable and comes with just a few unnecessary preloaded apps.
