Nice looks and feel, but something weird with how it works 8/21/2017 3:52:44 PM

Pros: Looks nice and I like how solid it is, but I have multiple problems with the way buttons are registered when pressed.

Cons: I've been experiencing some issues with this keyboard for a while when not all of the buttons are responsive and sometimes I need to press the button several times. Most often it's letters "o", "v", "b" number "5" and symbol ",". Also, some buttons double press, like "t" and "p" quite often. I'm using the latest firmware and before that I had a problem with space bar, which seemed to have been resolved but the other issues still persist.

Was good for a few months, then keys started to double register. 7/28/2017 5:55:36 PM

Pros: Great feel, great price.

Cons: Went downhill after a few months. The spacebar started to register multiple times when I pressed it... now a ton of the keys do it. I'm just going to purchase a new one as this makes typing anything next to impossible with several keys registering a ton per keystroke.

I really wanted to like this keyboard 8/29/2016 7:02:58 AM

Pros: - Quality manufacturing on the keyboard enclosure and keys.
- Nice bright LED's
- Nice feeling keys when typing.
- Heavy solid feeling.

Cons: - LED's wouldn't display certain colors or display wrong color.
- Lack of ability to program keyboard for customizing color patterns or individual keys.

Overall Review: I purchased this keyboard because I just built a system with a Gigabyte motherboard and I haven't had any issues with it. I also bought this keyboard because it was a mechanical RGB keyboard for under a hundred dollars with good reviews. When I first plugged this keyboard in the default pattern pulsed the different colors it could display in a rotating pattern. I had to go out to Gigabytes website to download the software to change the color patterns. I was impressed the the feel of the keys on the keyboard and the felt like they were in between a Cherry MX Red and a brown with leanings more towards the red. The keyboard itself was solid and didn't have any issues with the keys typing or playing games. The problem I had was the LED's started not displaying certain colors or displaying certain keys with the wrong colors. The first keyboard worked great for about two weeks and then quit displaying certain colors the + key on the number pad and other keys or when I had it set for all green it would display red for the plus and ESC keys or when I had orange it would display other keys as blue or green. I put in for an RMA with New Egg, who by the way have been awesome in the whole replacement process, and send the first keyboard back for a replacement. Upon receiving the second keyboard it immediately didn't display the number 8 or the enter key on the number pad or displayed the wrong colors on other keys. I don't know if this is an issue with Gigabytes LED controller or the LED's them self but the second keyboard had the issues brand new out of the box. I ended up getting an RMA for a refund as I could trust that I wouldn't get another bad keyboard. Like I said in the title of this review, I really wanted to like this keyboard at this price point. Functionally the keyboard was a pleasure to type on but the fact that the LED's don't display properly after only having the first keyboard for two weeks and the replacement straight out of the box was highly disappointing. I spent extra money over a standard mechanical keyboard to get the RGB backlit function and if it doesn't work properly then it in my opinion it is not a fully functional keyboard. Hopefully Gigabyte can resolve the LED quality issues or do better testing on them before shipping them out as this is a really nice keyboard with unreliable LED's.

Does what its supposed to do 8/13/2016 11:53:26 AM

Pros: Nice and heavy. Rubberized feet on all corners including the legs. Affordable. Can see keys very well at night and even in the day.

Cons: The keyboard initiates with nkey/64 enabled after a hard power cycle. You will not be able to enter your bios until you Fn nkey/6.
Did not come with a user manual.
Linux issues

Overall Review: You may have trouble when using linux with this keyboard due to the handoffs from bios to grub to kernel. Haven't resolved the issue yet. Linux is cycling the keyboard at different stages and it locks out. Works sometimes with Fn nkey/6 nkey/64. Works perfectly fine in Win 10

I CAN SEE!!!! 6/28/2016 12:32:50 PM

Pros: -Very Sturdy...
-Clicky, but not too clicky.
-Letters are very legible... No fancy font...
-Color cycling is beautiful, puts me at ease.
-much. much smaller than my G19. Nice to have that space back!

Cons: I hate to have any complaints, but the backlighting under the number keys seems faint. The symbols get a majority of the illumination. Good news is that I use the numberpad anyways.

Totally Worth It 6/22/2016 2:53:41 PM

Pros: - it's only $90
- when you type on it, it will feel like smooth butter and hearing the click is just so satisfying
- it's fricken RGB which playing in the dark is super fun
- i have owned a couple of mechanical keyboards one of them being the new razer black widow's but i have to say this keyboard is at equal or yet even better then the Razer Keyboard in my opinion

Cons: - i would say that the switches are not cherry MX but to be honest it feels the exact same and i really feel no difference

Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great gaming Mechanical RGB Gaming Keyboard at a great flippin price

Great ! 6/14/2016 11:41:55 AM

Pros: - Not too heavy, not too light
- Great quality for reasonable price
- Incredibly easy to clean with an air duster (easy access to the switches)

Cons: - Not Cherry MX switches
- Rubber cable

Overall Review: It's my first mechanical keyboard. Louder than a regular keyboard, but fairly quiet overall. For the price, this seems like an awesome high-quality keyboard.
