What is the expiration date on this product?

I have been buying this toner for my printer for a very long time.  I would easily say for over 10 years.  I have never seen any expiration date on any of the boxes of this toner cartridge.  It has never occurred to me that toner has an expiration date.  I quite frankly do not know after what period of time a toner cartridge would go bad. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for your question.

What is the expiration date on the HP 10A toner?  In the past I received from other vendors, items that had old expiration dates and I want to avoid this problem.

Hi Stephen,

I have owned the HP Laserjet printer for quite a few years and it has been a very reliable printer.  I have purchase numerous toner cartridges over the years.  I have come across other vendors that have sold me toner cartridges so old that they have come in the old package design.  I'm curious though as to the expiration date.  I have searched the box and the actual cartridge and I don't see anything markings that specifically indicate an expiration date.  Where do you find the expiration date?  The only thing that resembles an expiration date on the box is a marking on the back of the box that reads 20130918.  The only thing that I can tell you is that no reliable vendor out there sells these cartridges at a better price than Newegg.

Please let me know where you find the expiration date.
