I need an adapter to go from 3.5 to a 2.5 telephone  headset, can you help?

Hi there. This device, the PS/2 to USB adapter won't do that for you, but there should be another device either here at Newegg or your local electronics store that can help you out. A simple search for those words "3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter" should be enough.

Question 2

What is the USB product ID of the adapter?

I am trying to use a keyboard encoder with only PS/2 outputs to control a custom built arcade machine with a Raspberry Pi as the brains. The Raspberry Pi only has USB inputs, hence the need for the adapter. Unfortunately, the software for Arcade emulation (RetroPie) does not recognize anything other than USB product IDs of Joysticks or Keyboards. The last adapter I bought has the USB product ID of a barcode scanner and would not work.
