It works with iPhone, except it does not have volume buttons on the in-line mic like the original iPhone headphones do, or the iPhone version of these headphones.

Is this plug compatible with iPhone 5/5s/6/6+?

Confirming: has a mic so it functions as a TELEPHONE headset.

I ask because it says "android" but no "iphone" but was advertised on an Apple site....

It does work with iPhone. The only difference between the android and iPhone versions of the earphones is that android's version only has 1 button on the in-line mic. This button can be used to pause music, play music, next track, previous track, activate Siri, and even take a picture in the camera app, lol. But it just doesn't have the volume up and volume down buttons, that's all. The mic can petty much be used for everything as well. I used it with FaceTime and it worked fine. As far as I've noticed since I had these headphones, the only thing I can't do it change the volume from the in-line buttons. Hope this helps :D

Nowhere does it state that these are bluetooth, are these bluetooth or are the plug in? And if these are plug in, is it a standard 3.5mm plug?

These are corded headphones with a 3.5mm jack, sound is good for the price. I mostly use them at work for listening music and making phone calls calls from my laptop or tablet.

I would look for another type of headphone. These aren't so good, volume, bass, ear bud speakers make a pop/crack noise when you put them in.
