They can both Rotate but be shore to rotate it in the right direction. If u rotate it the wrong way it will break off look at the little icon on the inside of the bar right above the ear piece

I am using the J88i headphones with a PC as of 2/24/2015. I noticed that the full sound will not come through the headphones unless the orange button on the Apple three-button remote is depressed. Is there a workaround for this or a lock that can keep the button depressed at all times? I am using a piece of tape to keep the button depressed now, but that 'solution' doesn't really befit a brand new product.

You need to get a 3.5 mm male-male stereo cable and use that instead of the cable that comes with the headphone. The included cable has a TRRS plug to control an iphone that you don't need if you're just using it on a PC. The other alternative is a splitter to separate the microphone and headphone functions, this has plugs that connect to your PC's headphone and microphone jacks and a jack for the headphone another is a TRRS to TRS adapter

Yes but keep in mind the volume controls only work on apple, but the pause button/ answer call button works fine with android

As purchased no, you need to get a bluetooth receiver with a 3.5mm jack and use that with the headphone. Make sure to get a bluetooth receiver that has remote and volume functions so you can navigate through your music without having to use the phone's controls and also answer phone calls.

Yes, any headphones with 3.5mm (1/8") plug will work. Additionally, if you have the three terminal plug headphones with a mic, those will work just as well. So, if you have iPhone headphones with a mic and volume controls, those will work also.
