is this ear phone compatible with android smart phone?

Yes, it'll work with any device with the 3.5mm connector, but you have to know the x11 doesn't has a built-in microphone. So it's purely designed to listen to music, but not to take phone calls or have phone conversations.

Do these headphones come with bass? Just curious because my friend got these,  tried them out and it nearly had no bass at all? Was this just his pair of headphones or are all of them like this? I'm an edm fan so I like my headphones with some meaty clean bass to them. So my question is do these have bass decent bass?

I have owned these for more than a year now, and they are the best earbuds I've used. However, one thing to note about your concern-  because of the way these headphones have to really be put fairly far into the ear canal, the FIT makes ALL the difference with the sound.

The tip should effectively seal off your ear canal and be a very snug fit. When it fits properly, that is when you can hear the full range of bass. If it is slightly not fitting correctly, you will probably hear no bass at all.

I listen toonly rap music and find these have great bass.

Can these be worn over the ear or is it more comfortable the other way?

No the wires aren't stiff enough. That being said they are very high end IEM (In Ear Monitors) and probably the most comfortable you will find. They do go pretty deep in ear canal and need to be sealed well for good sound. I actually feel the suction break when I take them out. The best deal in IEMS out there at the moment.

In my experience, Klipsch has been excellent in honoring warranties for its sometimes fragile headphones.  I would contact them first.
