Almost NO laptops come with recovery disks (or boot disks) anymore, and this one is no exception.  As a general rule, to save costs, pretty much all of the manufacturers have abandoned including them.  Instead, whenever you get a new laptop, the very first thing you are expected to do is to burn your own recovery disks (or, a recovery jump drive seems more appropriate these days).  There are recovery programs installed which walk you through this process.  Second step is always to remove the crapware that is unavoidably installed on almost all laptops.

No it is not. I dont think you can get a touch screen with these specs for this price anywhere. I did a lot of shopping before settling on the G50-80.

sure. wireless or corded mouse both ok. once it loads the driver the touch pad is disabled until the mouse id disconnected.

I believe the answer to your question is the RJ-45 Gigabit LAN Port, you can see it in one of product pictures. So yes, it does have an ethernet port.
