No it does not.  As a general rule of thumb, unless a laptop's specs/features explicitly say that it does come with Microsoft Office, it probably doesn't come with word, excel, etc.

Yes, but be sure you are using the same version of 8.1.  This was home and I wanted Pro so I had to upgrade to 8.1 Pro and then upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

You will have to purchase Windows Pro pack. I have heard of issues doing this with Windows 10 so I recommend upgrading from Windows 8.1 to 8.1 Pro (go to system properties in control panel, then click "Get more features with a new edition of Windows" and follow prompts), then using free upgrade from 8.1 Pro to 10 Pro.

SSD is very fast and very expensive. Only put your OS on the SSD and your programs on the large cheap  drive  and you can put a lot on 1TB. Best of what each does best.

except it doesnt have a dedicated graphics card.
check the graphics requirements on your game

if you really want good graphics get a machine with a added grahics card like an nvidia
