Awesome case! 12/11/2011 5:10:51 PM

Pros: This case is beautiful, it is formed liked a stereo component, made of aluminium so keeps internal components cool, good design can include a blu-ray drive as well as a ssd and hdd drive.

Cons: Space is a little tight with micro-atx motherboard but mangeable.

Overall Review: This worked great for me. The remote also works great for up to 10 feet. May be they upgraded the receiver.
There were no instructions included for receiver installation and the instruction were on manufacturer website under FAQs!
It runs silently! I am running a WMC with HDHomerun network tuners (5 total), intel G620, MSI 1155 MB, blu-ray drive, 64GB ssd and a 3TB WD HDD. Power usage is 37W to 56W with 47W typical.

Great Case, Horrible RF Sensor 3/11/2010 2:09:03 PM

Pros: This case looks absolutely wonderful sitting under my stereo. Airflow seems to be good and keeps my HTPC running cool and quiet.

Cons: The RF sensor for the remote only has a range of about 2' unless you crack the top of the case which drops this equipment to 4 eggs in my book. Only room for 2 internal HD

Overall Review: Based off of all the documentation I have found online the remote is actually RF which means I can't set up my universal IR remote to interface with thsi case. By opening the top of the case (even slightly) range for the RF remote increases to the entire room.

This is the nicest looking HTPC case I have seen out there and I am happy to have it however due to the usability of the remote I probably should have gone with the PC-C37B

PC-C39 HTPC Case 2/1/2010 10:44:55 AM

Pros: This case is well designed and manufactured. It stay really cool and the fans are very quiet. This is working great in my home theater room!

Cons: The remote control only works about 2 feet away from the reciever no matter what I do. Doesn't really matter though as I have a Logitech DiNovo Mini running the system!

Overall Review: Micro-ATX. That means small spaces to manuver cables internally. Even still I was able to setup my system with little extra effort.

Great look 1/13/2010 1:24:14 AM

Pros: Great looking case, and comes with a great method for quieting down the hard drives using rubber pieces that go over the screws. The case is very well built and the finish is excellent.

Cons: The user manual is a complete joke. Though it shows you the basics of how the case works and how to assemble the cables, it goes into no further details about what everything does. There is a mysterious button on one side I have yet to find out what it does. It also comes with 70mm fans instead of the more widely used 80mm. They are slim fans however, but they are very silent. The worst aspect is that the remote barely works. The remote range is very short and probably not acceptable for most HTPC environment. As an HTPC you would of thought this would be the most important aspect of the case.

Overall Review: LIAN-LI does one thing well, it is building cases. They don't have the electrical part down right just yet. Though it was easy to follow the directions to set up the components in the case, the remote's poor range hinders this from becoming a 5 EGG product. Sorry LIAN-LI, I expected more from a 150 dollar case. The finish quality is excellent, but a crippled remote is downright insulting.

Excellent HTPC Case 12/3/2009 11:42:10 AM

Pros: Overall design, construction are top notch! Lian Li did a great job with this case. Great looking, low profile design - doesn't look like a pre-historic desktop PC.

Cons: Not for a newbee. Low profile, tight fitting (which should be fully anticipated and planned for).

Overall Review: plan, plan, plan - need low profile everything, including heat sink/fan. went with Nexus 7000

Great Media PC Case 12/2/2009 3:46:13 PM

Pros: Looks beautiful. Fits in perfectly with my home entertainment equipment. Very sturdy, and easy to access components inside.

Cons: Remote does work hardly at all. It even has difficulty recognizing button pushes from 2 feet away. Don't even try to use past 4 feet. Small size prevents good ventilation. I got a large power supply that prevents me from using one of the side fans.

Overall Review: Overall, a good case. I wish the remote worked since that was a major deciding factor for me, but overall, I love this case.

Small, Sleek, Poor Air Flow 9/11/2009 8:52:21 PM

Pros: -Aesthetics
-Remote
-Easy to work inside, especially with removable drive cage.
-Silent

Cons: -Uses 70mm fans (very hard to find, quiet ones are almost impossible to find)
-Poor air flow
-Right side has a blue light that stays on when shut down.
-Blue light blinks when ever the remote is used
-Very bright annoying blue light
-Mysterious button on the side below the light
-Low profile expansion cards only

Overall Review: The case looks better than the rest of my home theater equipment. Built so other equipment can be stacked on top of it. Make sure you are running <65w CPU and a efficient PSU.
