it should be automatic, go to settings > scroll down to extras + info, and if it says Lumia cyan, then you are good. if not then, go to settings > phone update, then check for updates. also as far as I know, t-mobile does not have 4g, they call it LTE instead. hope this helps.

Is this phone an RM-892 or RM-893?

I ordered this item, and it's listed as a Lumia 925.2 on the box, but also shows rm-893 if you look at the phone information under settings -> extras + info -> more info -> manufacturer name.

I can also confirm that this phone is working with T-Mobile LTE, which is also proof that it's an rm-893, and not the AT&T-neutered rm-892.
