NZXT Beta Series CS-NT-BETA-B Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: all my hardware fit properly. pretty solid construction. no sharp edges.

Cons: no room behind the rear access panel (motherboard tray support bracket) to route wires.

Overall Review: for the price the antec 200/300 offers much better air flow/wire management.

Pros: Bought 2, great airflow, esata, watercooling option, nice powder coat finish, plenty of room for every thing today and later. Thin steel but no bow or pop to it.

Cons: HD audio cable had to be routed next to the motherboard, under the graphics card.... don't like it but minor. Plastic "Screwless installation for external 5.25" drives" parts are cheap and thin, but i don't mind putting in screws. The hard drive rails are fine.

Overall Review: In 14 years of owning a computers this is only the second case I have purchased and I bought 2, I am very happy with this case!!

Pros: 1. Black Interior looks nice. and the openings for your cable management are smooth with no rough edges 2. There are Thumb screws for taking the side cover off very easily with options to place 2 120mm side fans along with the front fan that comes with the case and one fan for exhaust in the back of the case as well as grills on the front for more airflow. 3. There is a water cooling option with two slit openings if you want that will open up when water cooler tubes are pushed through. 4. You can shift the HDD to have the power and SATA/IDE connections facing the back instead of the front for better wire management. Some have said you cant mount it that way but you have to reverse the HDD holders that come with the case.

Cons: 1. Power and Reset Buttons have a simple design with the power button lighting on and off after initial boot up. It's not a problem for me but it could be if you just want it lit continuously after initial bootup. 2. While holes are provided in the case to handle your cable management, I felt like they weren't the best areas to sort them through to the backside of the case and instead I put almost all the cables I had toward the backside through the opening on the side where the PSU would be mounted within the top of the case. That PSU opening was large enough to fit all the cables, especially the thick PSU power cables and it provided greater mobility for any wires i had to connect and used the other holes as opening to swing cables back to connect to my motherboard, HDD and DVD Burner with good cable management.

Overall Review: Looking back, I think this a is a great build for a midsize tower at this price. This is my first computer build and I definitely don't regret buying this case. Newegg provided amazingly fast shipping so a big thanks out to them and I highly recommend this to any other first timers building a comp or others looking for a replacement case.

Pros: Nice steel construction of 90% of the case, but still lightweight. Nice black powder coat all over. Free Shipping :) Pretty spacious for the size. The expansion slots are metal (a nice touch i think). USB + audio is on the TOP!!! Simple, black, boxy design. Didn't try to get very gimmicky and cheap looking. Appears to be good airflow.

Cons: The front panel part is plastic, and pretty hard to remove. There is no easy way to snap it off... The plastic mounting rails for HDDs/ Optical drives feel pretty cheap, but I have not tried it yet. The HDD bay, optical bay, and FDD bay are all non-removable, they are pop riveted in. The thumb screws are kinda junky, might get another pair...

Overall Review: Not a 'tool-less' case, if your into that sort of thing (I personally prefer the screws + stuff) The Overall area for say a video card from the mounting bracket to the HDD bay is just over 11 1/4 inches of usable space. My current rosewill is 10 and some change and is a little tight with a HD 4850. So it should leave a little more than an inch of space, which will be ample for a full length video card (or two :) ) As far as the case, it looks and feels great. The add ons are sparse and flimsy, but when it comes down to it the case is what i paid for. And a mail in rebate was nice, but the free shipping hooked me + the black simple case

Pros: Solid construction. Fits 10.5'' video cards. Very open, breathable design. Comes with a nice blue LED front fan. Black interior (very nice). Top-side mounted front port connectors. Screwless drive bays.

Cons: 3.25'' drive bay is hidden behind the front grill for some reason, reducing that space to an internal-only. Front port connectors are open, and lack any protection from dust/debris from getting inside.

Overall Review: Exceptionally good case, with a solid construction. Along with the black interior and the price tag, I don't think you can get a better mid tower case.

Pros: I never write reviews. I'm too lazy. However, this case is worth it. This is THE BEST case I've ever worked with, the ventilation is great, the hard drives are perpendicular so that theres is room for the video card, it's room but not too big, the metal is nice and thick, I could go on and on.... This case is awesome looking, and awesome performing.

Cons: The one thing I have a problem with is the fan in the front is a bit loud. Oh well.

Overall Review: Buy this case. You won't be disappointed. I had a T********ke Tsu**mi Dre** case and I HATED it. This is SOO much better.

Pros: I love this case! It has lots of space, an E-SATA connection up top, has plenty of cooling options (watercoolong and air), and is painted black throughout. I had no problem whatsoever fitting all my components (see specs below). In fact, there is still room to spare for expansion. This case beat other much more expensive cases from big name manufacturers in my own comparison of features, appearance and value.

Cons: Not so much cons as things that could be improved upon or options to be added in the next revision: a windowed door, an exterior opening for the floppy drive bay that is build into the chasis, and slightly thicker metal. Now I know some of these would add to the cost a bit, but I think these would be worth a minor price increase.

Pros: *1st: It's a great value. It's not the cheapest and not the best, but is certainly one of the best cases out there in the <=$50 range. *2nd: The wire mesh throughout the front plastic panel more than balances out any cheap pts. you might deduct there; all meshed areas are also filtered. *3rd: The design is clean w/black interior to match exterior; IMHO the lights are just enough but not too much. *4th: Roomy inside for working; if you want more, you should be shopping for full tower cases.

Cons: *1st: What's w/the external 3.5 bay hidden behind the plastic part of the part of the case(as in, you can't get to it w/o taking off the whole front panel? Did they have a specific purpose in mind for this or is it a design error? *2nd: Would have liked to have seen some sort of cover or latch over the top ports; they are inevitably going to accumulate ______ in there eventually. *3rd: Bought it before the mail-in-rebate. *4th: The front panel does slightly throw off the balance of the design.

Overall Review: Overall, I'm very happy w/ what I got for what I spent, and as always, Newegg was on point w/(free) shipping. Would rather spend $50 and be happy than $200 and just satisfied. I think it would be difficult to be unhappy w/this purchase but you're not going to catch yourself staring at it in amazement either.
