NZXT ZERO 2 Crafted Series CS-NT-ZERO-2 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Sleek styling. Nice black finish. Very good cooling with extra fans installed. Solid hinges for the door. Fairly solid 'plastic' door. Two strong magnets keep it closed very well. Very roomy internal area. HDD cage mounted sideways allows for easier HDD installs and removals. 7 slots for 120mm fans and two slots for 80mm fans. Front intake has a screen filter and so does the bottom 80mm intake. USB, eSATA and Audio inputs on the top of the case and away from the power button is a plus. Internal sheet metal has all the edges folded. Very nice touch. I painted the gray sheet metal flat black and it looks like a $200 case now compared to it's $99 value. It's amazing what a little paint will do.

Cons: 7 fan slots and only 3 fans supplied? Bummer. Luckily I had 3 extra 120mm fans laying around. Nzxt placed the top 80mm air hole too close to the PSU slot. This means that if you install an 80mm fan that you will have to remove the fan to remove the PSU. Not to mention 80mm fans tend to make more noise so maybe Nzxt should have considered a 120mm opening on top. As it is I will not be using a fan here. Plastic front door when opened isn't very attractive. Power button behind the door; I'd prefer it outside of the door so I don't have to open it every time. No cable management options at all. I am forced to place extra cabbles in the drive bay area. Considering this is a full tower Nzxt should have designed in better cable management options. The HDD cage has no opening on the back of it which means you can not place the drives in with the cables towards the rear and you are instead forced to have the cables face the front of the bay. No hiding the cables from view is a bummer.

Overall Review: I like this case a lot. but at the same time I realize this case could be so much more. As bargain cases go this exceeds my expectations but compared to other quality name brands I'm disappointed. Cooling options are good but not providing all the fans means that cooling is not nearly as good as it could be. The front intake is heavily restricted due to the HDD cage design and even the front plastic panel. To off set this you must install fans on the side door. But they failed to provide any. Fit and finish is very nice though and atleast having the options for better cooling is a big plus. This case is quite roomy and attractive and because it meets 98% of my needs I will give it 4 eggs. I knew what I was buying so I can't punish Nzxt for the lack of fans.I would have given this case 5 eggs if it had any sort of cable management options. I subtract 1 egg because they made hiding my un-needed cables very hard.

Pros: -Surprisingly well constructed and quite innovative. -Not too heavy. -Magnets keep the door in front closed. -Power button is on the front, hidden in the design. -Reset button is inside where it is pretty well protected. -The stock fans move a surprising amount of air. I expected them to be weaklings but they actually push more air than the Scythes FDB fans I got for it.

Cons: -The HD Audio cable is too short to reach the mobo. -There's very little space between the motherboard and drive cage. My motherboard (DFI LP DK X58) has the SATA ports point towards the drive cage so all the SATA cables have to make twists and turns I'm not very comfortable with. Likewise, long graphics cards may struggle to fit. -Lots of screwing involved to add/remove fans from the side panel (4 per fan and 9 to remove the grill). -25mm deep fans on the side cause the side panel of the case to bow out when using a Scythe MUGEN-2 HSF. It is bad enough that I am compeled to remove those fans. 20mm might work but in either case, it is a tight fit. -Kind of a pain to get at the front of the case behind the plastic. It has those six sequeeze post things and like most cases, the steel threatens to cut you open when reaching for them.

Overall Review: I spent a few minutes scratching my head wondering why the power button wasn't working. Then I realized that wasn't the power button, it was the reset button. All cases have their flaws though and all the problems I encountered are minor. I would recommend it.

Pros: -Study build -Lots of HDD, DVD screwless rails -Plenty of room -Sleek, smooth finish I rebuilt my PC to be more of a gaming machine for the upcoming Cataclysm update for World of Warcraft, and this case easily fits two GeForce 465's and has amazing cooling capabilities. The sleek, almost alienware-type look makes it all the better.

Cons: It could have come with more than 3 fans (it has room for 8), but hey, fans are cheap.

Overall Review: The blue neon lights on the front are rather bright, so if your PC is going to sleep in the same room with you, that could be an issue. Personally it doesn't bother me (the blue illumination is kinda cool, helps me sleep).

Pros: A good case for the budget minded. Plenty of cooling options to make almost anyone happy.

Cons: The fans that are included with this case are very poor performers. Do yourself a favor and buy all new 120mm fans. You'll be happy you did!

Overall Review: In my review of this case I made a mistake. The power switch is indeed on the outside of the case and not behind the door like I stated. Behind the door is the reset switch.

Pros: -3 High performance 120mm fans included -1 Blue LED intake fan (front, 120mm). -2 Unlit Exhaust fans (rear, 120mm). -Good air flow. -Plenty of room for expansions of all types.

Cons: -Very heavy.

Overall Review: The following depends on what motherboard you have... I have had difficulty plugging in my SATA cables due to the HDD decking. My mobo is with in about an inch, and my cables plug in paralell, not perpendicular, to the board. Bottom line, it's still possible, just a pain, especially if you want to expand storage.

Pros: This case is spectacular. It's room, it's sleek, and most of all, it's durable. This case feels like it could take a bullet... or 10. Tons of fans for great cooling, and the door is magnetic so it doesnt flop open. The screwless bay design is great too.

Cons: I am utterly dissapointed in the fact that my case came with several marks and scratches in it... with the lights off, you can't notice it, but when you turn them on... they stick out like a sore thumb. It doesn't help that the box it came in was brutalized either.

Overall Review: I wish my case wasn't all scratched up... but now that the parts are in, I don't have a choice but to deal with it :(

Pros: Well ventilated I mean this thing will keep any thing cool with the right fans

Cons: As stated in previous statement "with the right fans" the fact it supports 4 120mm fans on the side is nice, but the fact that I have to buy them is not. that's 40 extra dollars for the descent fans.

Overall Review: the only reason I gave this a 4eggs and not a 5 is I have to buy side fans an essential item not included. it does fit video cards 10.5 inch's or smaller so check your cards other than that its a really cool case both aesthetically and functionally

Pros: Big, spacious, quiet (surprisingly). Tooless installation is great and overall aesthetics are simple but pleasing.

Cons: Door appears cheap, but I think it's due to the fact that it's the only plastic part on the case. It's actually sturdy. No wire management.

Overall Review: Large case so make sure your SATA cables are long enough for your topmost optical drives. If you're a stickler on cable managment, this isn't for you. No sound dampening, but the steel deadens more noise than expected.
