Question 1

No optical drive bay?  What do buyers think of this absence?

Accepted Answer

that it is something that isn't needed and doesn't matter anymore. most people have no more disc players and no need of them; over 1,200 songs on my phone for bluetooth over home stereo & car, 8TB external HD for movies that connects via USB to either of my TVs, another 4TB external HD for more music, images, and backups. and all modern software comes digitally distributed...

Question 2

Is the PHANTEKS PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case a worthwhile upgrade from older mid-tower cases in terms of airflow and future-proofing for next-gen components?

Accepted Answer

This case offers significantly better airflow compared to typical mid-towers thanks to its high-performance fabric mesh, which reduces airflow resistance more than metal mesh designs. It's designed to handle next-gen components with support for massive cooling setups like dual 480mm and 360mm radiators, plus plenty of fan mounts, so it’s a solid choice if you’re aiming to future-proof your build.

That said, the larger size and extensive features mean it’s less compact and more expensive than standard mid-towers, so if you mainly run moderate builds, this might be overkill. However, if you plan on heavy water cooling, multiple GPUs, or dual systems, this case provides flexibility that’s hard to match in smaller options.

Question 3

What are the sizes of the two PSUs this case supports? Can the case supports two ATX PSU at the bottom or does the second PSU at the bottom need to be slimmer?

Accepted Answer

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 supports dual system/PSU configuration, but the specific sizes of the supported PSUs are not mentioned. The case's product information does not clarify whether the second PSU at the bottom needs to be slimmer or not.

Question 4

How does the Phanteks PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case compare to the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic in terms of value for money and features at a similar price point?

Accepted Answer

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 offers more extensive features like dual system and PSU support, massive radiator compatibility, and a high-performance fabric mesh for airflow, which generally makes it better suited for heavy workstation or custom water-cooling builds compared to the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic. At a similar price point, you’re paying for flexibility and extreme expandability that the Lian Li’s more compact, style-focused design doesn’t prioritize.

However, if you’re leaning toward a sleek, showcase-style build with tempered glass and a reputation for clean aesthetics and good airflow in a smaller footprint, the PC-O11 Dynamic might feel more value-aligned for typical gaming or enthusiast setups. The Enthoo Pro 2’s size and feature set can be overkill unless you specifically need the space for multi-system configurations or extensive cooling and storage options.

Question 5

What accessories and mounting hardware are included with the PHANTEKS PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case for a seamless assembly experience?

Accepted Answer

The PHANTEKS Enthoo Pro 2 case comes with a full set of mounting hardware and accessories necessary for a smooth build, including screws, standoffs for various motherboard sizes (up to SSI-EEB), cable ties, and rubber grommets. It also includes removable brackets for fans and radiators, and all the parts you need to secure drives, so installation shouldn’t require buying extra parts.

One thing to keep in mind is that while the case supports a large variety of components, setting up dual systems or advanced water cooling might require careful planning to use all included hardware effectively. The integrated PSU cover and cable management channels help keep things clean, but for the most complex builds, double-checking the manual for specific installation steps can save time.

Question 6

Does the PHANTEKS PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case require any BIOS or firmware updates on its built-in RGB controller before the first use?

Accepted Answer

The PHANTEKS PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case does not require any BIOS or firmware updates on its built-in RGB controller before first use. The integrated Digital-RGB controller is designed to work out of the box and can sync with compatible motherboards or Phanteks Digital-RGB products without needing manual updates.

If you plan to connect the lighting to your motherboard’s RGB header, make sure your motherboard software is up to date for best compatibility and control features. While the case's controller handles basic functionality independently, using motherboard sync can offer more customization but might require software adjustments on the PC side.

Question 7

What has been the typical customer experience with warranty claims and RMA support for the PHANTEKS PH-ES620PTG_DBK01 R case?

Accepted Answer

Customers typically find that warranty claims and RMA support for the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 case are handled reliably, with Phanteks providing straightforward processing for defective parts within the warranty period. The case’s solid build and detailed quality control mean most issues are minor or rare, so the warranty experience usually involves straightforward replacement of any faulty components.

One thing to keep in mind is that while the warranty covers manufacturing defects, it doesn’t extend to accidental damage during installation or use, so careful handling is important. If you plan to do custom water cooling or heavy modifications, documenting your build may help if you need warranty service. Overall, Phanteks support is known to be responsive compared to less established brands.

Question 8

Does this come with dust filers inside?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is equipped with high-airflow dust filters.

Question 9

Will this fit a B450 Tomahawk MB?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 Full Tower case is compatible with a B450 Tomahawk motherboard. The case supports several motherboard sizes, including Micro ATX, ATX, Mini ITX, and E-ATX, which includes the standard ATX form factor of the B450 Tomahawk.

Question 10

Considering the case for a dual socket Xeon build, and though many manufactures advertise SSI-EEB compatibility, many fail to mention lacking the stand-up mounts for the heat-sinks used.  Can anyone confirm?

Accepted Answer

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 supports SSI-EEB motherboards, which implies compatibility with dual CPU setups. However, the product information provided does not explicitly confirm the presence or absence of stand-up mounts for heat sinks.
