I have Verizon, can I use this phone?

You may be able to but you may be limited to what you can do with the phone. I would recommend calling Verizon customer support to be sure since this is a 3G phone and a SIM card is needed for it to connect to a wireless network (i.e. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint...) and Verizon only recently started using SIM cards so the phones used could access their LTE network.

Question 2

Will this phone work with Tracfone?  Net 10 and StraightTalk (both divisions of Tracfone) claim that any phone with a simm card can be switched to their systems.
I thought Tracfone also had specific hardware on their phones, so that just any phone with a simm card may not be compatible, even with a simm card from Tracfone.
Tracfone will always state that only Tracphones are compatible with their system.  I have seen phones (i.e. the Samsung Galaxy 4) that will function as a Tracfone.

Don't bother with any of those network resellers (MVNO's).  Go with either T-Mobile or ATT prepaid as they both now offer really great plans directly.  Plus you can take the Samsung Focus right to an official T-Mobile/ATT store and they will set up your account right there and give you a free SIM card.  I use the ATT $40/month prepaid plan which is $43 with taxes/fees and it includes 500mb data, 500 min talk, and unlimited text.  They also offer 2.5gb data, unlimited talk/text, plus hotspot for $60.

My understanding is that ATT is ending all of their reseller contracts and so Net10 and StraightTalk use the T-Mobile network which has much less coverage than AT&T plus you will receive a 3g signal more often on the Samsung Focus with ATT than T-Mobile due to the network frequencies used by T-Mobile.

This product is showing AT&T U-verse and unlocked phone means I can't carry any other country and any network??

I believe it can only be used with AT&T network.  We purchased it to replace a broken phone that was on the AT&T network- nice phone but think you would be limited to AT&T.  Hope this helps

This one I bought was new. I think the seller would write refurbished if that was the case. It is a very durable phone and my teen loves it more than the iphone. Hope this helps.

I would not recommend this phone, the operating system is ok but the reception for phone service and quality is horrible, i almost have to be standing next to a tower to get a signal. i called samsung and they were of no help!

bluetooth?  slot for memory card?  Hands fee capability?

First one, arrived DOA, spoke to Newegg operator, who said I had to swap for another, since I had reservations.  The 2nd, had some kind of software glitch, and turns itself off every 5 minutes, and this happened days after 90 day warranty expired. My advice, buy any other phone.

I have not tested but I don't think so as Verizon connections are CDMA and this is a GSM phone.

very third class phone not good even once i put micro SD-card it's not supported,even i read instruction how can install micro SD-card so we can use so i did as per instruction install but this phone damage my micro SD card so can't use on this phone or any another phone.i don't like this phone & i recomand to every one it's not good phone.
