SIGMA VENOM Venom-WB Black 0.7mm STEEL SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I've assembled several computers before and I think this is one of the better cases. Room for two fans on the side window, front connections in the middle so the wires don't have to stretch across the MB and power supply on the top. Very nice black finish. No weird plastic figures on the front.

Cons: The thin gauge metal is not as bad as some indicated. The hard drive bays have weird (but workable) retention devices. The expansion slots are cheap cut outs, but it''s no big deal.

Overall Review: I could only find one case meeting my criteria. Side window fans, usb and audio connections in middle front, no stupid door to open each time you press the power button or insert a CD and PS on top so you don't have to stretch wires over the MB (doesn't heat rise)?

Overall Review: Excellent medium size case for the price

Pros: Solid metal front panel, with a power button that has a satisfying "clicky" feel to it. Drives mount very nicely, and my X-Fi Platinum front panel fits in well. Tool-less drive bays that can be used as normal ones (i.e. remove the holder and put in regular screws). This gives you the best of both worlds. Easy cable management (at least compared to my old micro-ATX HP case :P)

Cons: The rest of the case is flimsy and flexes/bends way too easily. I messed up my rear slots in 3 seconds and then spent 10 minutes straightening them out. Ugly vents on the side window -- I'll be replacing it with some solid clear plexi in the future. The included fans are junk -- the red ones barely move any air and the blue LED one makes an annoying howl. No IEEE 1394 on the front.

Overall Review: I actually wanted the Sigma Pluto, but this was my second choice since the other one was out of stock.

Pros: Reasonable price (got it with $20.00 instant savings). Room for 5 - 3.5" hard drives. Easy connect mounting hardware for drives. eSATA port on the front with both power & reset buttons. Front Audio and USB ports in the middle of the front cover (not down at the bottom).

Cons: I have to agree with others in regard to the external case materials. I think the next Gage down in metal thickness is called paper, or possibly foil. Though when all together it seems sturdy enough. I wouldn't stand on it to change a light bulb. Then again I wouldn't do that with any of my computers. Comparatively the internal case materials seem fairly sturdy. Though with the unit I received, the panel the motherboard mounts to, was riveted slightly out of alignment. I had to find some small thin nylon washers to put under some of the standoffs. This was so all the main USB and audio ports aligned properly with the access panel on the back of the case.

Overall Review: Be prepared to replace the included 3, 120mm fans with something better. I have some 3 speed 120mm fans in other cases. At the lowest setting, they move more air than the fans that came with the case. Also, the molex connectors only have two leads for power. So if your motherboard supports case fan monitoring or q-fan, you're out of luck. Would I buy this case again? Maybe, if I could get it with a $20.00 instant savings again. That's only because of the features I mentioned in the beginning. Particularly the eSATA port on the front. But no way in the world would I pay full price.

Pros: Good space,looks sheik,side case has a nice window,was easy to move things around.

Cons: The cool looking ultra violet side fan, is the only part of the rig that makes noise.

Pros: This is a great case for keeping dust out with a little tweeking. I put a filter in the front and covered the side vents with a piece of plexiglass. Thats why i originaly bought this case, and its great if you have a dust problem.

Cons: The fans it come with are complete garbage. I could spin the blade faster with my finger then the motor does. I replaced them with two thermatake fans with blue leds and speed control. I took one egg of because their better of selling this case without fans.

Pros: Lightweight, easy to open both sides, has side window, total of 4 places to put 120mm fans.

Cons: Thinner gauge steel then I'm used to, but it's sturdy enough. I bought this for $49 with a $20 rebate. So that would be $29 after rebate. Now that's cheap! The problem? The rebate has to be postmarked only 15 days after the date of purchase! I'm used to having at least 21 days, so I didn't bother reading the rebate when I bought it. Next they'll shorten it to 10 days, then 5 days. Man, I hate rebates.

Overall Review: Make sure you read the rebate postmark requirements every time! I know I will from now on. I wish those little red vertical pieces lit up. That'd be cool.

Pros: Build went together very smooth. The housing is shiny black. Could do my hair in it:-) although I hate this look on plastic, It looks very nice on metal. Front comes off very easy. The IO's look more like polished chrome then stainless steel. It has the look of high quality. The pictures don't do it justice. Very good case for those who like to keep there case up high. Very roomy and easy to work on!

Cons: The case is just sturdy enough, but bye know means is it flimsy. Had to wait long time for a good sale price!
