Cooler Master Centurion 5 CAC-T05-WW Black/Silver Aluminum Bezel, SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great airflow! And I mean great! My old custom case was a death trap compared to this. The perforated front panel combined with the 80mm intake and the 120 outake fan is more than enough to keep this spacious case cool. My temperatures on almost all my components dropped almost 20 degrees! I also replaced the coolermaster fans they offered (which I bet are good too) with Apevia 120 and 80mm Red LED fans, after I get some cathodes my case will be a rich red color. its great! The looks are simple yet elegant, and with my Red LEDs going its looks darn sexy.

Cons: Basically none. Only two I can think of are that there is really no removabel motherboard tray (and this might not even be a con) and maybe that the front panel is somewhat tough to get out, but really all you need is a little muscle (Im starting to get concerned about the body build of the geek race as I read these reviews). Basically flawless in design and the size that others have mentioned as a con is really a big plus, better airflow and less cramped components.

Overall Review: Buy it if you need a nice case with good air flow! Dont hesitate!

Pros: Very sturdy, well built, and the fans are very quite. Beautifl looking, but not over the top. I wasn't into the flashy, expensive cases with cheap plastic parts. Toolless design is a plus.

Cons: One con but it's an easy modification. You have to pull out cd/dvd drives to remove front cover once they are installed. For those who don't like having to open side panel, unlock cd/dvd drives and then pull them out to remove the front oanel, just use a dremel tool and zip off those tabs on the inside edges of the front panel (you'll never see this) and then the front will slide perfectly over the cd/dvd drive, nice and flush. If you don't have dremel, heat with lighter and cut them off.

Pros: Very solid case; does not break or snap. Paint job is very good. Practically all metal on the outside, with minimal flimsy plastic parts. High quality front metal mesh provides ventilation and nice design. Under that is a synthetic mesh to trap dust, and to make it less transparent and darker. Power buttons, front USB + firewire + audio are a plus. Front bezel, unlike some other comments, do not snap. Designed to removed/inserted many times w/o breaking (plastic snap-in does not bend much). Removing the drive bay covers are very easy using a screw driver. The covers are replaceable, and are not permanently snapped out. The tool-less locking mechanisms on the CD/Hard Drive bays lock well. PCI/PCI-E also have individual locking mechanisms which are very good quality. Rear exhaust fan is quite. Overall, it's a high quality solid and sturdy case, where every feature works as stated. Though it doesn't have very fancy designs, it does its job very well..

Cons: The window exposes the sides of the CD and HDD bays... which is somewhat undesirable. Basically, about one inch or more of the CD bay's can be seen in the window. I personally don't like to see side of the CD drive bays sticking out. Also, the window design is somewhat plain. There are about 5 separate semi-thick wires in order to connect the front ports (USB, audio, etc).

Overall Review: My front bezel does not snap off, nor do the attacher break, even after many removals. Window does not have the centurion symbol stamped on it. Also, even though the outer design isn't the best, the quality is excellent. There's nothing I would really complain about. Please rate how helpful my review is.

Comments: This case has the appearance and build quality of cases much more expensive. The design is very clean and functional. I was able to put a 120mm fan in the bottom 3 optical bays, and it functions great. The back fan is near silent but still moves alot of air. The only thing that could be improved, is an easier way to store PSU or HD cables. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: Relatively sturdy. Ok air flow. Slick tool less design. Looks alright with plenty of pretty lights. Switch's, power light, and hdd light still working great. 260 gtx's fit i guess.

Cons: No cable management. Depending on motherboard, one 260 gtx size card will likely block off 2 hard drive slots and 2 260 gtx's will block them all off. I had to drop down to 1 hdd when i went sli and mount it in the external floppy slot. The front bezel filters get dirty quick and are almost impossible to clean. Motherboard didn't line up perfectly with flimsy back of case. 80mm front fan is mostly useless and really needs to be a 120mm.

Overall Review: I replaced both fans with antec blue 3 speed fans and removed all the filter material off the front grills. I have to wipe down the front of the case once a week and blow out the case every month or two but thats the price you have to pay to stay cool i suppose. I wish the side window covered the front slots....looks kinda tacky. Not recommended for sli users or people who may need more than 2 hdd's. Seems to keep my setup cool for the most part, but it could be better. An average case overall.

Pros: Simple design without all of the obnoxious flashy objects on the front. Front panel being metal mesh allows good air from front to back. Front mounted 80mm fan blows on my HDD keeping them nice and cool. Plenty of space inside of the case for all of your accessories.

Cons: The 80mm fan plug is sort of hidden on the solid panel side, no biggie though, just make sure to look for it. Also newegg is great but they have this listed as ATX compatible when it is micro-ATX compatible also. I almost did not buy this case because I wasn't sure if my pre-fab micro-atx mobo would work. I searched some other websites and saw that it was micro-ATX compatible and purchased it.

Overall Review: Highly recommend for simple design, easy install, good price and plenty of space!!

Pros: I bought this case back in march of 2007 and have yet to have a problem with it. Over the years it has seen 3 different motherboards (ECS 530i, Abit 680i, Asus P6X58D-E), 3 different video cards (gt7600, gts8600, gtx260), and 2 different power supplies. Nothing has broken, gone out, or stopped working. No need to ever buy a new case again! Also shows off my cool little blue LED lights

Cons: only two fans. (one intake, one out take) This created a problem when installing the Corsair H50 CPU cooler because it requires you to flip your exhaust fan (the rear 120mm fan) so that it will pull cool air into the cpu cooler's radiator. Not that big of a deal though. I was able to mount another 120mm fan in the front top, just below my dvd-rom drive.

Overall Review: This case has been on the market for about four years now, has not changed price, and is still a top seller. That could never happen with computer components unless they were truly future proof... Which this case is. Totally worth it, BUY IT! you wont regret it!

Pros: I forgot to add some practical information to my last review. The good news is that some very popular and relatively large components will fit, mostly with no problems at all! The Zalman 9700 CPU cooler series is large, with the copper heat sink at 90 x 124 x 142mm. It, along with the smaller 9500 series coolers, wil fit with no problem. Even the 9700 is on the order of 1 inch away from the side panel. The Zalman 850W PSU, specifically the ZM850-HP, has been cited by reviewers as not fitting in some mid-tower cases. There is no problem with fitment in this case, and there is comfortable room between that PSU and and ODDs installed in the top slots on this case. (You'll need to slide the ODDs out of the case some to change PSU connectors.) My ASUS 8800 GT video card also fits. I have 3 HDDs installed in the lower 3.5" internal bays, and the card's PCI-E power connection just barely clears the connectors on the HDDs.

Cons: If you need to remove the HDDs, you may have to remove such an 8800 GT video card first. There also may be some problem with using all four HDD bays with a 8800 GT installed, due to clearance around the video card's PCI-E power connection. I haven't tried fitting all four drives though. YMMV.
