RAIDMAX AZTEC ATX-619WB Black/ Silver 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case

Pros: This case looks awsome in person, expecially when running. Looks awsome at night, nicely done blue glow in the front, turns purple when the hard drive is working. The case is very solid, and you can see the company put a lot of thought into it with the drop down sides and removable hard drive cage. The case window came flawless, no scratches or blemishes what so ever, and is raised out from the case, so what ever lighting you use, it also show along the edges of the window too.

Cons: Instructions are lacking, especially explaining the rails on the hard drives and which way to attach them to slide into the cage the right way. And what is up with this trend of most all cases now a days not sending enough stand offs for the mobo? Had to raid some from another kit, but since this is being said about a lot of other cases too, didn't drop an egg.

Overall Review: There is a fan on the non window side too that blows into the other components in the case, since the hard drives are already getting air from the front fan. Cannot tell you about the loudness of fans that come with the case, change the front and back with the 120mm Scythe Kaze 110cm fans with decently low noise. I threw a purple fan on the non window side, so a purple glow from the side, and two blue "alien" led fans in the fan two fan holders in the window, one above the cooler, the other in the stablization bar. Too bad these fans are discontinued, the blue leds flash in different combinations, eventually turn brite, then fade, and runs again, all with the red fireworks in the center. Looks sharp, will hate the day when either of em die. If you can find any out there, they will not dissapoint, good air movement and quiet too.

Pros: definitely an amazing case for the price. Solid well built construction. I definitely like the fold down motherboard tray, it made installing everything a whole lot easier. Lots of fan slots. Looks great!

Cons: If you are looking for a lightweight flimsy case that will fall apart: Do Not Buy This. Also: 120mm fans are weak and 80mm fans are loud. None of them are 3speed. I would recomend replacing at least the 120mm in the back.

Pros: Overall, a very well thought out design topped off with beautiful presentation. The case is clean cut, and I found no sharp corners (first time I've used a case that didn't give a little "love prick.") Well placed, easy to find latches to open the case, with a great hide away storage for keeping the tools you need to work with on your computer. The fold out motherboard tray is very helpful when first installing your motherboard, but has some issues which I will go over in the cons For the most part, the toolless design for installing hard drives and other necessary parts is great, and is fast and convenient, giving this case a step up from the competition.

Cons: This case is truly designed for a Mid or a Low end computer. If you use a large graphics card, like in my case the GeForce 9800 GTX, your motherboard tray will not fold out properly. There is a spacing issue with the hard drive slots on the case, causing large graphics cards to not have enough clearance to fold out. The side bar holding a fan on the glass face side of the case also was a hindrance until I discovered that you can remove the entire side bar without too much trouble. An easy solution the manufactor could do to fix this is making a better hinge to the side bar, allowing it to fold back more, giving you more room to work on your computer without removing the bar. The latch on the side bar is also made of a cheap plastic which looks like it could easily snap if you aren't gentle with its. It also has problems lining up with the case. Again, a better hinge on the sidebar would fix the alignment issue.

Overall Review: (cons continued) As other people have said, the 4 pin molexes and other power connectors have the unruly habit of getting into places which prevent you from properly closing up the case. An better place to tie down these connections to would be nice. I'd also like to see a few improvements on the Aesthetics of the case. Although the design is very beautifully done, I would like to see another pair of LED lights on the uppermost slots on the front door, giving the front of the case a more unified and symmetrical look. Also, I would like to see a premium model of this case with more metal and less plastic on the front door. Overall, this is probably one of the best cases for the money, and I strongly recommend it, despite its few flaws. Pros: LOVE THIS CASE! I built my new rig in this case. Very easy to install anything. +The fold down Motherboard side is a Godsend! Loved that. +Came with lots of extra screws, HDD mount brackets (very easy to use), and a Motherboard speaker. +Huge window to show off my rig. +Awesome looking front cover (reminds me of Forerunner theme from Halo) +My HUGE heatsink (Thermaltake Spin-Q) fits just fine. +Lots of room for 2 optical drives and a 2-bay heat sensor/fan controller. +HDD bay detaches, side panels both fold down and detach. +Side case arm can get in the way... BUT, it also detaches, just pull up. +Side fans are EXTREMELY easy to install/remove.

Cons: -Cheap molex pins on the fans. One of them popped out, but you can just pop it back.

Overall Review: = Fans are okay. They keep my rig cool (37c-41c mobo temp). I installed an extra fan on the right side to get more air flowing. It lines up with the 2.5" bays which I thought was odd. The CPU stays cool idle at 36c and never above 42c but I think that is mostly due to the aftermarket heatsink. I bought the bundled Raidmax power supply (630w), haven't had a problem. Pros: good looking case easy to work with the fold out mobo tray 4 fans is always a plus blue eyes kinda make it look mean!!!!!!!

Cons: now for the bad stuff 1. did you all play soccer with the box before shipping it giant holes in the box didnt have to do much opening to get the tower out of the box 2.tower was fine no scratches on the side window but there was a nice inch long knick in the front of the tower below the eye (didnt rma cause i can live with it) 3. the 120mm fans in the front and back are crud replaced with 2 scythe 120mm 110.00 CFM fans (NICE) 4. dosnt come with winning lottery numbers :(

Overall Review: the overall features of the tower are nice lotta room inside to work just watch out some sharp edges !!!!

Pros: Sturdy case. Provides good room for cable management. I love the ventilation options. Plenty of room for all my components.

Cons: The front cover is held shut by magnets. They are pretty weak so the door is easily opened. This poses a problem since my case is on a board on the floor and gets bumped often. I am thinking about putting in my own magnets.

Overall Review: Although the magnets seem a but cheap. I think this case is great overall. It looks sharp and is extremely solid. Definitely worth the price. ***Note for those wanting a LAN computer***>>> Heavier case, it would be hard to lug around.

Pros: Very Convenient, Big, Open design, Lots of air flow, lots of fans. The rear panel door makes motherboard installation and upgrading a snap. Combined with the screw-less design opening and closing it up takes mere seconds.

Cons: I use a modular power supply to reduce the cord volume inside the case and increase air flow. One minor annoyance is the main power connector to the motherboard doesnt reach all the way to allow the rear panel to open all the way flat. In order to open it all the way I have to disconnect the main power connector. This could be the fault of my power supply but it is only a very minor issue. Another minor issue is the elevation of the front panel door in relation to the rest of the case. Fact is the front door is a little to low causing it to rest on the floor along with the rest of the case. When opening / closing the door it drags on the floor / desk (w/e surface you have it sitting on) To remedy this i elevated the main case on a small plank to allow the door to open / close freely. I would have given this product 5 eggs had it not been for this slight flaw.

Overall Review: I've used a number of cases over the years. Previously I built a rig for my friend using the Raidmax Smilodon for the reason that the rear panel opens to allow quick installation of the motherboard and components. The Aztec improved upon the Smilodon by increasing the stability of the front door and the magnet that holds it shut. The new design of the front door makes it stay shut firmly and only open when I want it to. I would recommend this product for any system builder. The time it takes and the ease of installation really cut down on the effort and time it takes to build your rig.
