Absolutely fantastic 10/13/2017 8:46:58 AM

Pros: +Excellent attention to detail from top to bottom
+Stock cooling is amazingly quiet and effective
+Huge, huge and huge. Seriously, it dwarfs my old Gigabyte 3D aurora by comparison
+Aesthetics
+Ease of installation
+Very roomy and well laid out
+Rolled steel edges EVERYWHERE
+The vertical sliding door is really cool

Cons: -The door that I mentioned earlier, yeah it sounds like someones dumping a bag of gravel down a flight of steel stairs.
-with a standard ATX motherboard 2 of the cable management slots are located under the board itself i.e; useless
-Fairly limited space behind the motherboard for routed cables I had to force the side panel back on.
-The cable management slots are ridiculously small, about half the width of a molex adapter for reference. I actually pushed the rubber grommet out of the slot when I pushed my 8pin cpu adapter through it.
-Aesthetics.
-That new case smell.

Overall Review: Despite the cons I listed, this case still serves as an example for what other manufacturers should be striving for. No stone was left unturned here, from the small things like the rubber grommeted screw holes on the hard drive cages to the big stuff like the rotated motherboard tray and radical styling. I listed the Aesthetics as both a pro and a con because you're either going to love the way this case looks or you're going to hate it.

My rig
Asus Sabertooth X58
Core i7 950 w/ a Coolermaster Hyper 212+
EVGA GTX 570
Seasonic X750 Gold

Everything fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare, btw.

For the reviewer below... 3/22/2015 7:49:40 PM

Pros: Even though it's been 3 years since the guy below wrote his review I am going to correct him. The side doors are rough texture and were from the 1st day you built your system. They came that way. The fact that you did not notice it seems incredible. Anyway, I bought the case in 2010 and the front door still works and I still totally dig the look. I do think the vertical heat dissipation sounded better than it actually works but it's an interesting design.

Cons: Price. Case does have some plastic and many have had door issues, I was just lucky enough to have avoided it.

Overall Review: Better a late review than none at all, lol.

Love it but.... 9/17/2012 3:28:24 PM

Pros: Beautiful! One of the best looking cases out there. Black wiring makes it easy to fill with black parts and have everything be jet black. The way the MB mounts is glorious. This thing looks absolutely sexy.

Cons: Havn't had it even a year yet and after using the front door maybe 10 times it broke and will no longer latch in the down position. I just inspected the case today and noticed that the metal side feels rough as if it is rusting under the paint job. This is extremely worrying for me.

Overall Review: I would buy another one but the door issue so many have complained about needs fixed and the side door issue is the first I've seen of it. I cannot be having any part of my build rusting or corroding.

Cool looking case, heat issue? 6/26/2012 10:00:30 PM

Pros: The design is pretty amazing considering the 90 degree motherboard mount, cable management is easy.

Cons: HEAT ISSUE!!! I mean running a single is is fine but, the lack of fans in the case itself is horrible. I run 3 way GTX 580 SLI and idle I get is high 60's with 100% fan speed, it would've dropped really low if they made the back of the case with a intake fan for air cooling, but I guess they left it for custom liquid cool.

Overall Review: Wish there was holes to wire cables through.

Terrible Door 5/14/2012 2:21:20 AM

Pros: Great looks and interesting 90 degree layout.

Cons: The door mechanism decided to break just when the 1 year warranty ran out. As a result, the door no longer stays down and shoots straight back up no matter how many times I push it down. I disassembled the front panel/door and found a cuboid 50 cent spring catch mechanism at the base of the door to be at fault. I'm quite annoyed because because I'm now stuck with a $200 case that has unusable CD drives.

Overall Review: I bought it for the looks and looks are all it's good for at this point.

Expensive, flashy, but not worth the price. 3/20/2012 8:09:02 PM

Comments: Also, it needs to be said the cable management of this case frankly SUCKS. I don't get how companies can make a case that looks this visually appealing (in my eyes) but skimp out on quality and important things like cable management, especially when cables impede air flow and this case is designed with optimum air flow in mind. I was very dissapointed to find out the grommet holes inside the case mobo tray are so small in diameter you CANNOT even fit anything OTHER THAN A SATA CABLE! even the Sata PSU cable you have to BEND and swivel and tilt to get it through the hole (its soooo tiny). No chance in heck getting a Graphics card 6pin or 8pin PSU or, especially a 24pin PSU. You would have to drill out the mobo tray for that. so you end up having cables (big ) run up the front of the case, which is ugly because you can see it through the window. Also, the front sliding door WILL break on you. I'm getting a HAF X next time... I bought this case to be different ; big mistake.

Awesome case 3/12/2012 3:44:47 PM

Pros: -Awesome case design
-Plenty of room for some builds*
-Good air-movement with vertical cooling so it naturally moves hot air upwards.
-High quality and durable case material.

Cons: -*With 2 cards in SLI set up the case does get a bit tight, so there is limited space for certain builds. (Wouldn't recommend this case for a 3-way or Quad sli set up)
-Cable management is kind of difficult.
