Question 1

Can I see through the front mesh? I don't want to be able to.

Accepted Answer

This is a tough one to answer; it's yes and no. If you look at the pictures here on Newegg, you can clearly see right through the front mesh. It is not this transparent in real life. Only if you shined a light on it or from inside will you see through this well. I can only see about 1-2 inches into mine. I can see the front fan (I have a Noctua fan, so I can see the brown). If your fan is black, you should hardly see it. Don't have any lights inside the case or pointing on the case and you won't see anything.

Question 2

This case supports AIO water cooling kits. As far as I know, radiators with 120mm fans are mostly recommended. I'm looking at the Corsair H80i which have two fans in a push-pull configuration on the radiator, so it is twice as thick. Will this fit in this case?

That's the cooler I'm using. There's only room for one fan, so I swapped out the included fan for a single noctua. Haven't had any heat issues.

Question 3

This might be a stupid question but does this case have support for micro-ATX mother boards? I see it says it doesn't say that it supports them but it looks like a micro-ATX would fit in there. Thanks!

No, a microATX board has 4 expansion ports. This case only has enough room for 2 slots, and is only fitted for miniITX board placement. Micro atx board is actually dimensionally wider than this entire case is.

Question 4

I can't for the life of me see where the power and drive activity lights are.  Or, maybe there are none?  Can anyone who has one these say?

The power light (which is blue) and the activity light (which is red) are located in the gap located under the front USB ports.  Blue light emits from both sides and the red light emits from the center.  The lights are not actually visible as they are mounted on the back of the front bezel.

Are there any dust filters for this case?  If so, how easy is it to take out the dust filters and clean them?

There is a large dust filter on the front of the case behind the bezel that accommodates up to a 140mm fan however cleaning it requires unscrewing and removing the main body cover, then unscrewing and removing the front bezel. If you work in a very dusty environment, I would suggest a magnetic external dust filter that would go on the outside of the front bezel mesh.

Question 6

How much clearance for CPU cooler is there, since the PSU goes right over top the motherboard?

With a full ATX or mATX PSU theres very little room for a CPU cooler (only the most slim models will work) with a proper itx powersupply theres almost 90mm of room for moderate sized air coolers. However, I suggest going full watercooling since the clearance is so tight. Budget all-in-one sealed watercoolers from corsair and others fit fantastically and cool better than slim air cooling options.

Could an EVGA Supernova P2 fit in this case?

Depends on which one, but you shouldn't have a problem if you remove the drive bay. My EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GS had milimeters of clearance with the drive bay and it's 5.91" long. A 650 P2 is 6.5" long. I wouldn't even attempt the P2 power supplies that are 1000 or more watts since those are significantly longer.

Question 8

If I get this case, will I be able to mount my 2.5" SSD as well as my 3.5" HDD?

Yes. You can fit 2 2.5" drives on top of the power supply. However that is a good place to run cables. But i will warn you that you can only fit in a 3.5" drive if you have a short psu and no fan or radiator in front. (short psu is shorter than 150mm i believe. Shorter than an ax860 or rm650 for example.) I managed to fit a fan, my 3.5" drive, and a regular psu in there. But it's very hard and well... sketchy i guess you could say.

Question 9

Will this fit a GTX 1070 FE card?  The card measures right about 10.5-10.75" but the picture in the overview shows one similar.

My GTX 980ti acx 2.0 (≈10.5") fit flawlessly in this case, with just a touch of headroom left.

The front plate of the case's frame has a cutout for the tail of a standard video card, adding ± .6" of space to work with. I would stick with simple, standard-profile two-slot cards for this build though. Larger aftermarket coolers will struggle to find room.

So the one 1-star review has some conflicting information.  What material is the front mesh of the SG13B made of?

The mesh is a solid mesh plastic material.  It's very good. I was the original reviewer above.  I exchanged it for the mesh and am very happy w/the Mesh.  I would rate the mesh model 4-5 eggs.  Just beware of what you order if you choose the "Quiet Front Panel" model.  Notice the mfg response didn't deny that the front is made of a cardboard material.
