Can it be used for keyboard only?

Yes. I have a USB mouse, so I use it only for my keyboard.

I have a Microsoft Internet Keyboard with a PS2 connector that I used on my old PC. Switched to a machine with only USB ports. I think Brad G has perhaps answered this question, but I am asking specifically about the MS Internet Keyboard, since I bought a PS2 too USB adapter that didn't work at all?

I don't know specifically about the MS Internet Keyboard as mine is a Dexxa Y-SH16. Actually I have three Dexxas in three in different work locations using 3 StarTech adapters. I had tried other adapters before trying the StarTech and they either didn't work at all or worked intermittently. Very occasionally after coming out of hibernation the StarTech fails. Sorry I can't help with your specific keyboard. I believe that the StarTech will work in your application, but I can't be sure.

Will this work with an Intel Mac mini?

Hi, First I'm a windiows guy....that said is works fine with my old Compact keyboard. Don't know what might happen with a Mac.
