I was wondering if it was a smarter option to turn my power supply upside down to have the exhaust exit out of the bottom, or the normal way which would expel heat into the case?

I have an OCZ Power Supply that is mounted upside down or non-traditional. The intake is at the bottom of the case and exhausts out the back. In theory, this pulls cool outside air through the power supply instead of warm air from inside the case. Why heat up your power supply even more, right? The front intake and top/rear exhaust fans along with dual CPU fans move air through this case nicely. Wouldn't set the case on the floor with the intake on the bottom though.

Can a GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard fit in this case, will match the screw holes?

The tower has standard ATX holes (as well as others) and the motherboard in question says it is a standard ATX form factor. Given this, the mounting screws should line up correctly.

Does this case have an HD activity led?

Yes. The hard disk activity light is red and it shares partial space with the Reset button on the topside, front-left area of the box.

Does this come with fans preinstalled or do I have to buy my own?

It comes with one intake fan on front of case and one exhaust fan (outward air) on top. I would definitely recommend this product. It has lots of room and great cord organization.

Question 5

Is there a way to deactivate the Breathing effect?
Even turn the light off complete or let it glow the whole time. Because the blinking is kind of disturbing.

Edit: Look on top of the case for 4 switches on the left side of the power button. 1 rest, 2 fan speed, and 1 light mode button.

Light modes are: 3 solid colors(red blue green) 2 alternating colors and an off mode.

Will this be able to fit a Hyper 212+ CPU cooler?

Absolutely. I have an Arctic Freezer A30 Extreme that fits fine while not blocking anything on my MOBO and it has about 2 inches of clearance from the case door. So with the 212+ you should have no problems at all.

Yes, all the hard drive trays support 2.5" hard drives and SSDs. They will screw to the bottom of the SSD (instead of the side), I have a 2.5" SSD in mine.

The amount of RAM is dependent on what motherboard you get. This is just the case.

Anyone having issues with their front panel USBs and HDD dock constantly freezing the computer when anything is plugged into them? I'm pretty sure I hooked them up right to the MOBO.

You must turn your machine off before connecting your hard drive to the dock. The motherboard determines whether it is hot swappable or not. Most of them are not, meaning turn off the computer, insert drive, reboot. You must start with it in the off condition.

your motherboard will then detect the added drive and you will see it in the explorer program. If it is not initialized, you must do so in the administrative tools under "storage devices".

Be sure to turn the computer off before you remove the drive or damage to the drive and/or motherboard will result. If you have already frozen the system by hot plugging it, I would do a thorough check of the drive for damage.

Is this case compatible with the Thermaltake CLW0217 Water 2.0 Extreme/All-In-One Liquid Cooling System?

I just put a Swiftech H220 into my new Chaser MK-1 and it easily fit just above the motherboard on the inside of my case. As an option there is room for the radiator or fans (but not both) just under the top case cover. Dimensions for the Thermaltake look very similar so if the fans/radiator mounting screw holes are in the same places, you should have no problem.
