Yes. Using two of these with a Surface Pro - one on the corporate network, the other in a home office. As I recall, I had to find drivers when I started with Windows 8, but since then (including an update to Windows 8.1), it's been easy. And yes, I like the device.

Hello, I have a lenovo y510 and I want to put it on a docking station and not have to look at it at all (even close it and hide it away).  In other words, I use my dual desktop monitors and wireless keyboard/mouse and only actually touch/look at my laptop when I need to take it out the house.  Can this product do that?  I see two different video outputs, can they both be used at the same time or can it only be one or the other?  If this can't do that could you point me to a product that can?

The USB 3.0 docks can do this, however it is sometimes tricky with Lenovo desktops as the Dynadock software and lenovo display software clash a bit. I've installed several of these docks and lenovo systems are the only ones I've experienced problems with. They work, but it takes a bit of driver / settings fiddling.

will this work with a Lenovo g505s and charge it?

It will work because that laptop does have USB 3.0, however, it will not charge your laptop. Laptops don't charge themselves via USB, so you will still need your power supply for that. This is really just meant to consolidate the number of wires, so you would only have 1 USB 3.0 cable going from your laptop to the docking station and then your power cable to the wall(or surge protector).

I bought this for the accountant at the company I work for to run 2 27" monitors.

I have an Acer Aspire V15 Touch.  Is this product compatible with this computer?

If the Acer Aspire V15 is a laptop with a windows operating system with a high speed USB port, then it will work.  I have 2 of these and love them.  I plug both monitors, usb mouse and keyboard, and speakers into the dynadock and then one usb into the high speed usb port on the laptop and I have a dual screen setup in minutes.  If I want to use the laptop, I just unplug one usb and I am on my way.  You can use the laptop screen as a third screen too, but for my setup I just needed two screens.  Hope this helps.

Yes, I have used this with my Core 2 Duo edition of the MacBook Pro.  Before they went to the unibody construction.  I have also used it with my girlfriend's retina display MacBook Air.
