Does this support Thunderbolt 3 protocol? The specifications mentions USB-C input, but not Thunderbolt. Thanks.

I do not own this device, but Alan R. is incorrect. Thunderbolt 3 & USB type C use the same physical format, but are not the same type of connection. Doing a quick Google search shows you this.

Question 2

This description mentions no video gaming - but does this work OK with zoom meetings?  Intend to use with a USB-C connection.

Hey I really don't know. I just bought it to act like a hub and especially give me the ability to watch movies. Instead of looking at just movies on my computer monitor, I wanted to watch them on my big screen TV. But the docking station also gave my more USB ports. I was also able to increase my WiFi using a USB WiFI booster antenna device. I am not a gamer so or a social media type of guy so you would have to check and see what kind of port Zoom needs to run.

Is this dock compatible with Lenovo ThinkPads (P15s Gen 2 specifically in my case)?

I really don't know. You see I am using it not a laptop docking station but more like a central hub. It provides me with extra USB ports and HDMI video to my TV in the Family room. If I find a Movie online I want to watch on a bigger screen, then I can. I am no longer limited to the PC monitor. My main computer is a Desk Top. If I were to change out the Desk Top with a Laptop it should do the same thing as the present setup.
I like my Docking Station. So blindly it works for me. I just wanted a way to watch movies on the Big TV screen. Giles.

It seems that I still have to plug power to my laptop separately. With my previous docking station, it provided power too. Am I doing something wrong?

I called HP with the same issue and their help gent told me that wavlink doesn't provide enough power to my HP laptop. There's like 1 amp missing :(. I just live with it

can you run 4 external monitors at 1920x1080 using the 2 hdmi connections and 2 usb 3.0 connections with USB to hdmi adapters via display link?

It only has two display connectors, either display port or hdmi.  I haven’t tried daisy chaining multiple adapters over the usb-c connections.  In theory, if the drivers support that, then it could work...  you would likely have better luck with two usb-c or two usb-3 connectors going to two separate display link adapters...

Yes - I have 3 monitors that is being used on my desk top for Engineering design with (3) Display ports. This device only has (2) can you use (1) HDMI and (2) Display ports?  or can you use convert to go from HDMI to Display Port so all (3) monitors to be working on all DP with no issues? Thanks

Yes you can use up to 4 monitors with this unit. If you are going to use 3 monitors you can use 2 DPs from this unit and you can use your desktop video card for the 3rd monitor.

Do the USB ports on this allow for functionality of input such as a corded USB keyboard, mouse, and headset? I bought another of WAVLINK's docks and it's great for a monitor setup, but terrible for any input devices.

Yes I currently have a USB Keyboard and Mouse connected to this.
But, primarily I also use this docking station to have two Monitors (HDMI ports) off the Laptop it is connected to.
