The Westcott Apollo Softbox offers two diffusion methods for optimal lighting control.

For direct diffusion, position your light source facing the white diffuser panel. This setup creates a bright center with a soft edge, the intensity of which can be adjusted by altering the distance between the light and the diffuser panel. Alternatively, for indirect diffusion, mount the Apollo Softbox with the light facing towards the silver metalized back of the unit. This configuration allows the light to bounce off the back, producing a more uniform and softer light, perfect for achieving a flattering, professional-grade lighting effect. Please note, the Mono Arm #1080 may be required for use with larger light heads.
