No, and if I were you I would stay away from BOSE.  For that price you could get a much better system.  Look at Polk or Klipsch.

May I install the subwoofer in the ceiling ?

Also, keep in mind that the sub woofer box processes all the sound. In fact, there is a harness that connects from your receiver to the sub woofer box, and then there are speaker cables that run from the sub woofer to the speakers. It could get complicated.

does this work for computer at all and does it need sound card for it.?

First of all, this system is designed to be connected to an audio/video receiver, with separate speaker connections made for bare wire attachments. That being said, you would need separate speaker outputs for all five speakers: left front, right front, left rear, right rear, center. So, if you're not going to use an audio/video receiver, then you should get a sound card that has those five separate speaker outputs. Also, you would then have to splice the bare wire connections from the Bose cables to stereo jack connectors that would fit in the soundcard.

will the Bose Acoustmass 10 series system be compatible with the Pioneer VSX 1023 - K?

They should work just fine.  I've used the Bose Accoustimass 5 series speakers with a similar AV receiver.
