The Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is a standard zoom lens with a versatile zoom range allowing it to respond to a variety of shooting situations. Released in early 1998, it's Canon's first lens to feature Image Stabilizer that compensates for hand shake to deliver sharp, crisp images even in low light condition without the need of tripod or flash. Premium optical performance is achieved via lens construction of 16 elements in 12 groups. The Ultrasonic Motor provides fast and quiet AF operation, and enables full-time manual focus override for precise focus tweaking even in the AF mode. The inner focusing design means the front of the lens will not rotate during focusing, thus special filter effect like polarizer will not be affected. Additionally, this lens comes in a relatively compact design and low weight of 540g, making it an all-round zoom lens that can be carried around wherever your travels take you.
