I bought one of your WiFi HDD enclosure from Newegg (CR-H125). Using the USER MANUAL that was in the original packaging I have not been able to set it up. My network operating system is Windows. The config I would like to establish is connecting to WiFi sharing network mode. The enclosure has never  lighted any led associated to the WiFi (#5 as per User Manual). I even did a reset to the unit, not getting any 'red light' as it's mentioned in the manual.

Could you please guide me on this? Could I have a defective unit? How do I find out if that is the case?

I have the same item. I could never used as a wifi connection. it is very hard to to fig it out and I give up the wifi connection and used it with usb cable. even so, some time it does not work well. I does not like it.
