Is this compatible with a Dell Optiplex gx620? My current ram is ddr2 pc2-4200 533MHz DIMM RPG640.

The Optiplex is a desktop system that takes Non-ECC RAM. This is ECC RAM that is designed for Servers and Workstations ONLY that require ECC RAM. It won't fit and it won't work as the Optiplex is not designed to handle ECC RAM.

It is Workstation or Server ECC RAM and isn't intended for desktop systems and won't fit. It can only be used in systems that have been designed for ECC RAM.

It really doesn't matter unless you intend to use it in a Workstation or Server that supports ECC RAM. It will not fit or work in systems that haven't been designed for ECC RAM (like desktop computers).
