Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
Unmatched performance for the value, these are the tenants that guided Cooler Master engineers when designing the Hyper 212 EVO. Patented Continuous Direct Contact (CDC) technology ensures that the heat pipes are free of barriers while drawing heat away from the processor. A PWM fan ensures that fan speed can be intelligently controlled to ensure that it only speeds up when more cooling is necessary.

Pros: Quietly keeps my i7 nice and cool even under extreme conditions. Addition mounting hardware for a second fan, if desired, or to replace the fan since it is mounted to the bracket with adhesive pads rather than screws.
Cons: Once this cooler is installed and bolted down, you can still easily turn it about 15 degrees in each direction. As your thermal compound hardens, it will be harder to move, but if you do, I have got to believe that will cause the compound to shift or thin out and reduce it's effectiveness. I have the cooler oriented such that the fan blows through the heat sink towards the back of the case. In this configuration, the fan covers one of of my memory slots, so it must be removed to access this slot. It also limits the height of 1 memory module, and modules with a heat sink will not fit under it. Turning the cooler such that the fan blows towards the top of the case causes the heat sink to cover the memory slot, permanently preventing access to that memory slot. The only other option is to flip the fan around and mount it on the other side of the heat sink such that it sucks air through the heat sink and blows it into your rear case exhaust fan. Since the fan came pre-mounted so that it blows through the heat sink, I decided that it would be best to leave it in that configuration and just deal with the interference with my memory slot. Installation leaflet is extremely confusing, and I can see how a first time user of this type of mounting bracket could have a difficult time installing it and end up very frustrated. I wish they used screws, rather than adhesive pads, to mount the fan to the bracket that snaps onto the heat sink.
Overall Review: Overall, a great cooler. Just beware of its large size and how it will interfere with other components.
