Anyone know if this will work with the meg2390 ace?

I agree with Michael's answer, it should work, if not then look for a BIOS update. My Gigabyte Aorus board had to have BIOS F6 & F8 to properly support i9-9900KS & 32GB memory modules (luckily it came with F9 so i had no problems plugging this RAM in and having it just work, check with MSI to see if they do support 32GB DIMMs or iDIMMs, if YES then you should be all set.

As far as the CPU goes the answer is YES, the deciding factor will apparently be which motherboard you pick, so check to ensure that the Socket 2066 board you pick has support for 32GB modules, otherwise you are looking at getting the bigger 8 x 16GB kit if you want to get 128GB. On the positive side i have read about people running 9xxx CPUs on socket 2066 quad channel board with 8 DIMM slots and getting the 256GB Corsair 8 x 32GB pack to work, so if that chipset supports 256GB of this RAM, i really dont see why 128GB would be a problem.
If you already have your CPU then i assume you must be new to building, as anyone with extended experience like myself, knows to pick out all your parts prior to purchase as you dont want to troubleshoot problems that should have been avoided with proper pre-build research. With that said, you should be able to get at least 128GB of RAM on a sockett 2066 quad channel 8-DIMM board no matter what the brand is.

Basically the lanes are going to effect how many drives, GPUs, USB devices and even RAM you get in your system, so as i always recommend, do your research prior to shelling out your money.
