How does it connect to a computer?  By a USB CONNECTION?

RAM is traditionally connected to the motherboard via the DIMM slots. The RAM lines up and clicks in to this slot.
After finding this product and seeing it's picture, your question implies that you may have never installed RAM before. Please first make sure that you are puchasing the correct RAM that is compatible with you motherboard. 
If you choose to do the installation yourself please at least watch a YouTube video about installing RAM. Or if you can find it, installing RAM on your specific motherboard. It's really easy to do, but I highly recommend seeing it done first so that you have a better understanding of how it is going to work for you.

I can see no way a laptop manufacturer would adapt a mobile platform for RAM modules like this.  Likely you are needing DDR4, but in SODIMM format...you can use guides from the OEM main page to get the correct specs...
