I plan to use this to augment the existing Samsung 2 GB 2RX8 PC2 6400U-666-12-E3 non-ECC RAM stick in my old Dell Optiplex 755 Desktop to render a total of 4 GB RAM. Will this new stick work with the old one (I have 4 slots)?

yes it should sync up just fine. its ussually best to go with 2 of the same sticks but this stick is compatable with your computer so it will work as needed.

does anyone know if this will work in a Dell 760 (small form factor)? seems like it should, specs match, but I would be more comfortable if I knew for certain

pc2-6400 is the correct memory for that model.
