CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8 G

Pros: Excellent memory. As expected from Corsair. I have been in the PC business for years and I have not used anything else for my personal computer other than Corsair brand. I threw these things in there and my system booted right up. My P6T recognized them as 1066 so I hate to set the spec voltages and manually took it to 1600. Currently overclocking my i7 920 to 3.2 (3.3ghz turbo) @ 1.2 locked voltage/160mhz bus speed/QPI 3840 and I did not have to mess with memory speed at all due to stability issues. This memory is XMP = fat kid's chocolate factory! I am not overclocking past these speeds since there is no need for it. This memory with right CPU will be a powerful combination, plus I want my system to last me for a while, thus I went with X58 set up.

Overall Review: The difference in these modules and Dominator model is the heat sinks. Make no mistake, this is perhaps the best 1600 memory kit out, specially for the price! DDR3 is expensive stuff not to mention 6gb's. All I do is game and other multimedia operations. I am VERY picky about hardware and stability/quality. All I ever buy (from past experience) is Asus, Corsair, WD, Antec, Samsung, and sapphire. Take it from thousands of dollars I have given Newegg since 2003 LOL!

Pros: Great price. Memory specs matched an OZC 6Gig kit I bought for my machine last year. Got 12 Gigs now running tri-channel on a GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R. Certainly more than I need but had a gift card that I just found from Christmas last year and thought, "what the hec."

Cons: Even though it's XMP I still had to manually adjust the speed and voltage to get both kits to run stable at rated timings. Not too big of a deal and my setup isn't on the approved memory support list so I'm not taking an egg away.

Pros: - The EVGA E758 compatibility problem is over. New product version 3.2 is flawless with this motherboard. - Super fast, and reliable. - Handles a QPI based overclock well.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Happy to say this product has worked perfectly out of the box using its XMP/SPD timings. Be sure your bios is up to date. Pushes 26.56GB/s at 190 BLCK, 2:8 ratio, 8-8-8-19 (59 tfrc) and I haven't even tried to overclock this ram yet. lol. Also gets a remarkable 59ns latency on this EVGA E758 motherboard.

Pros: Fast memory and (in my humble opinion) good looking. The heatspreaders look nice without being too over-the-top with extraneous fins. While this matters nothing to some, with competing memory with similar price and performance on the market, it doesn't hurt. Performance is great. I dropped the set into an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 and it booted without incident. Selecting the X.M.P. settings in the BIOS and it clocked to the published specs without any further adjustment needed.

Cons: I got this memory back when it was no more expensive than any other comparable DDR3 kit. Prices have gone up across the board, and this set in particular is no longer the great value it was originally.

Overall Review: I can't accurately compare value as the picture has changed since I purchased in May, but in my experience these modules have done everything I asked without any issue. That's about all I can ask from memory.

Pros: Great ram, all 3 sticks were deteced on boot, with XMP enabled, ran at advertised specs.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: using these with a gigabyte EX58-UD3R and they are awesome.

Pros: Old reliable. Corsair memory is the ONLY brand I buy. Not one stick has EVER failed in systems all running 24 x 7 crunching science full time. Never scrimp on the RAM purchase. Buy the best. Buy Corsair. Great support on their forums also, should a timing issue arise.

Overall Review: Works perfectly in my new i7 920 build. EVGA X58 (vanilla). Identified as 1600 and C8 off the bat. No extra work to do in the BIOS.

Pros: Worked fine for 11 months. Pretty decent price for when I bought it (and a pretty decent price now).

Cons: 1 of the sticks just died on me. I was running it stock too. This is the first time I've had memory die on me.

Overall Review: I would have picked up another set of these, but since 1 stick just died I'm probably going to buy a set of 2 2GB sticks. I'm on Win 7 Home anyways, which only supports an 8GB physical address space.

Pros: excellent memory. recently ordered an additional set.

Cons: next time i'll pay for the shipping. i've been dealing with newegg for several years and, almost without fail, i get my parts in 2 days. evidently, the only thing innovative about UPS Mail Innovations is the fact that they take at least 3x as long to get your merchandise to you. (or more, considering my memory seems to still be vacationing in austin, tx for some reason)
