Is there a slot for an optical drive?

No, there is no slot on the case to install one. You would have to get an external drive. I don't mind it though. It makes for a cleaner look and I just hide mine in the desk drawer when not in use.

Can you change the colors of the lights?

Yes you can, there are controls on the top of the case. Which sets the color and mode variations of the fans. But if you decide to have more fans, make sure you buy the HD120 rgb corsair fans. Because those are the ones that the fan hud controls for this particular chassis. If you decide to buy the SP120 rgb corsair fans, you'll need the fan hud also. The corsair logo on the power supply shroud only lights up white though. I know this is more info than you ask for, but I decided to give the 411 about this chassis.

Question 3

The specifications state there are usb ports on the front but i can't see them in any of the pictures where are they located?

They are located on the top right side when you're facing the front. (Own one)

does the front honey comb looking piece come off?

Like the others said, it does come off - it's only attached with magnets, it's the filter piece. If you don't like how much it stands out, corsair sells a less noticeable black replacement on their website that can be used to replace it.

Question 5

Does the front piece of glass need to stay off for proper airflow? If I install a liquid cooled CPU unit I'm worried that the glass will block too much air.

I think you will be fine. I have a 120mm AIO on the top fan slot on the front and it stays cool. More evidence that tells me there is plenty of airflow is all the dust that gets caught in the filter. Air is definitely moving through the front even with the glass on.

This case has a lot of gaps, so it is importnat to practice positive air pressure to keep dust out

Does this come with a psu cover on the front or do you still have to but it separate?

There are 2 versions of this case. An older version without the PSU cover (can buy it separate from Corsair), and a newer version that has a proper PSU cover (it also has a cable management cutout now). Rather Newegg is selling the updated version or not, that's something I can't answer.

Does this come with a Fan controller so if I buy other corsair fans can I connect them all? Thanks!

The included rgb controller hub can control up to 6 fans lgiths, but to get the fan speed control you'd need a motherboard with enough headers to control them, otherwise there is the option of the commander pro, which acts as a node pro with the added functionality of a 6 port fan hub with individual pwm speed control all through the icue software. i have a total of 9 HD fans with a commander alongside a node for dedicated control of the led strips. it all gets a little complex but i assure you it's worth the effort if you like coordinated lighting effects.

Will this fit my gpu at 11.83 long by 5.14 wide?

Yes. It is currently my case and I’m using a card with L= 11.41 W= 5.287 H= 2.32 inches. There is plenty of room for extra length as well. Using the Aorus 2080 ti xtreme.

Question 9

How big of a PSU does this thing hold? I want to put in a Seasonic Flagship PRIME TITANIUM 650W PSU. Will it fit?

Mine holds an EVGA Supernova 650 watt which is 85mm (H) x 150mm (W) x 165mm (L). The height is pretty snug though, so anything taller will probably not. The seasonic is 86mm tall I believe so - probably okay. you'll probably have to wiggle it in there pretty good. The case has some little rubber feet that prop up the PSU so there's some friction.

Will the NZXT Kraken X62 fit in this?

Yes, front only though.  Please refer to the Technical specifications in the Overview section.  Look for "Radiator Compatibility".  The Kraken X62 is a 280mm AIO cooler.  If you want to install an AIO cooler on the top you'll need to go with the Kraken X52.
