Question 1

I've seen people with this and a RED LED..not blue...can i change the LED color?

The led on the m65 isn't adjustable within any software.  the black and white versions of this mouse come with a blue led, while the military green version comes with an orangy red led.  i've downloaded the software and there isn't any adjustment for it, like there is on the h80i, with the adjustable RGB sliders.  so if you want red led's, i'm afraid you're stuck with the green one.  that being said, i can definitely recommend this mouse.  i bought it with a mm200 pad, and it's smooth like buttah.  hope this helps.

Question 2

Does the scroll wheel allow for high-speed scrolling?  Meaning, when you scroll, can you feel each "notch" or can you flick the wheel and it spins freely, quickly?

Coming from a G9x and looking for similar functionality.  (The G9x has a toggle to have notches or free-spin.) Can't give up the high-speed flick of the wheel.

You can feel each notch, with no option to spin freely. The wheel will not continue to spin after you release it. It is a great mouse but if you cannot give that up its probably not for you.

Question 3

Does this mouse also have the three buttons with the scroll wheel? (Moving the wheel to the left/right and pressing it down)
I feel like this is a stupid question, but I haven't heard anything about it.

It only has the push down button, not side to side.  At first I missed it as my Logitech had it... but I pretty quickly forgot about the side to side action, especially as this is a superior mouse in every other aspect.

Question 4

Can you program button 5 to scroll through all 3 dpi settings freeing up button 4 for other use?

I just tested this and yes you can.  You can set any button to toggle through the DPI setting.  Once it gets to 3 bars, the next time you hit it, it will take you back to one.

To do this:
1. Open up Corsair m65 Mouse Configuration
2. Click on 5 in the image map in the bottom right
3. Click on Button Options
4. There is what looks like a text box, named "Advanced Buttons.  When you click on it, it will give you options to select from.
5. Select "DPI Select"
6. Click the + sign next to the box you just select

That will setup the toggle function.

Question 5

Could I use the sniper button to do something other than change dpi? Example use it instead of pressing the b key

Sure can! You'll need to download the drivers from Corsair's site to do it, and they're confusing, but just now I set it to be pressing the b key. Believe it or not, the following was written on my mouse: bbb :)

Is this a USB 3.0 connector?

As far as I know it is not. If you're worried about compatibility, don't. I use it in a USB 2.0 port and it works beautifully. USB 3.0 would be pretty unnecessary for a mouse, even one of this caliber, so it's a nonissue from a performance standpoint as well.

Hi guys! Can I change the LED color to all Red on this version? Cause I don't like the new corsair logo on the RG version, that's why I don't get that! Thabks!!

what is the length of the mouse? i have used this mouse for a year and i love it, but my giant bear hands are too long for it so my wrist drags. trying to figure out the length so i can find one of appropriate size.

looks to be right around 4 1/2 to 5 inches long.  issue that i have is its not tall enough. so my hands drag around when i am playing some serious games due to my not paying attention.  the over all feel for the mouse is great though.  happy hunting and best of luck

How is it for left handed people? Did anyone try it?

I don't think it would be very good. Sniper button is on the one side, as are the back/forward buttons and I'm pretty sure they aren't switchable.  Also it is contoured for a right hand.
