Can we turn off the LED of the SP fan with Lighting Node PRO ?
I am planing to buy a 460x RGB case but the LED of the fans cant be turn off turn me off

Everything is controlled through Corsair Link. The Node Pro has a usb powered block which has 2 channel 4 pin headers on them, which you can do 4 strips per channel and also include fans in the loop. I do believe if your fans are on a motherboard header or this unit, you can control your fans. Provided the fan itself has that capability

Can you hook this up to the LL120mm fan lighting node pro? or do you need the commander to do both fans and led strips?

You can control these lights Node Pro, however this set of lights comes with another Node Pro. if you want to control the speed of the fans from the Corsair software then I think you would need the Commander.  My current setup I have 1 Node Pro controlling a set of the LED strips and 3 of the LL120's lights, the fan connectors from the fans I have hooked to my motherboard and using the motherboard  software to control their speed. I hope this is helpful.

Question 3

I'm looking to buy this and the new RGB fans but I noticed that both the 3 fan pack and this come with the lighting node pro. If that's not the case please let me know. My question is do I need to the 3 fan bundle with the lighting node pro or can I just buy this first and then buy the solo fans since I'll have a pro node already?

You can purchase this first and then the fans individually. This package comes with the lighting node pro and the 4 light strips.  It's super simple to set up, literally plug and play.  However, you will need Corsair Link in order to change the lighting patterns and sync them to any & future Corsair products outside of their peripherals.

Can this be used without the Commander Pro?

Do the colors have a UV option?

No they do not. However certain color shades can create some effects. For example, transitioning to a dark blue makes red parts turn black under the light.

can the strips be trimmed down? would like to install them behind some panels that have small spaces to have the light come through.

These are premise length strips with connectors on each end. They are not designed to be cut.  There are aftermarket strips online for multipurpose use designed to be cut down n can buy connectors to rewire them but use use desperate power supply n remote control.   All the pc led strips are designed n sold in specific lengths that work with supplies psu/control box n software. Or designed to plug I to ur motherboard if rgb strip header n can be power by your mother board n use mother board  software to control the led strips.

Question 7

Does my lighting choice persist so long as the PC is on, no matter who is logged in or if no user is logged in? I heard that it defaults to epileptic-inducing rainbow lights. I wanted to verify this before purchasing and learn what options I have.

It used to retain your settings with corsair link but now outside of windows this is no longer the case. It retains your profile setup via icue so it will be defualt rainbow otherwise. For multiple user logons on windows, you’ll need to setup each icue profile. But that won’t take long as you can export your theme and apply it to each user

I don't have any more open USB headers on my motherboard, but I do have plenty of USB ports. Would I be able to substitute the header cable with a normal USB to mini-USB cable? Or is the header connection required?

Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any reason you cannot do as you ask. Unfortunately I do not know if the node has a standard connection on its end. I cannot easily check it as my computer is wall mounted and the node is in the back. I seem to recall the USB connection looked like a mini or micro USB.

Some options are try it...
Unplug one of your existing USB header cables since it's probably going to extra USB ports as it is.
Buy an "USB header splitter" cable here on NewEgg. It's the second search return and looks like it should work.

Can we have more than one of these installed and the software will see them independently?

Corsair Link identifies each strip that is plugged in.  Each unit has 2 channels to which each one supports up to 4 devices in series.  If your motherboard has enough USB headers on it then you can plug in another unit into that one.   You can literally do a bunch of LED strips and Corsair Fans off multiple units.
