Outstanding quality; Super quiet!!!1/8/2020 11:40:08 AM
Pros: - Wide PWM range
- SUPER quiet in low to mid PWM range
- (supposedly) very reliable motor
Cons: Loud at high PWM... BUT it moves LOT of air at the same time! Honestly, it may not even be fair to note this as a con, because it's just science that the faster you move air, the louder it will be.
Overall Review: Look, this is just an awesome fan. The 'con' above isn't really fair. It would be more useful to compare the 'air moved' per 'noise' vs the competition. My suspicion is that this fan is at the high end of that comparison. Comparing a fan at high speed to silent is not a useful endeavor. I have this fan (and the 120mm version) in my server and desktop and I can say that they are in fact silent unless gaming.
The crowd complaining about noise are probably not using appropriate speed curves and aren't performing a valid comparison. Do yourself a favor and spend the cash; you'll be happy with the investment.
For what it's worth, I don't write many reviews. I thought this product was worth it. Just sayin'
Pros: Super jazzed on these fans. I put one in the front of my case for intake and one in the back for exhaust and my temps have cooled significantly. Air flow has improved greatly!
Cons: None
Overall Review: Good fans for a reasonable price

Great set of no frills fans2/29/2020 7:19:22 AM
Pros: Very quiet! These PWM fans allow greater control over the air flow. These replaced regular variable voltage fans. Paired with a good motherboard for maximum control, these fans are extremely quiet and do a fantastic job moving the air through the case and controlling the air flow. Even under heavy load conditions, when the fans do speed up, the noise level is low.
I'm so glad Corsair put out a pair of fans with out LEDs to keep costs down. LEDs are just a useless fad and gimmick. If you want a computer that looks like a clown puked all over it, too each their own. But, if you want a quality product that is made to do it's job, then these fans are for you.
Cons: Not necessarily a con, but only one side of the fan had tapered holes for the screw to recess flat. Since one fan was pushing air in and the other fan push air out, one fan was okay. The other fan, I had to use a recess drill bit to taper the hole to accommodate the case screws I had. Otherwise the screw was too short.
Overall Review: Overall, great fans. No frills, no gimmicks, great price. Definitely recommend.
Impressive build quality! Great fan!3/11/2017 1:33:44 AM
Pros: Very quiet
Moves a lot of air though a cooling radiator. More so than the stock antec static pressure fan.
High quality plastic. Doesn't have the smell of cheap plastic. Almost looks like it might be glass reinforced but don't quote me on that. Frame is highly rigid and so are the fan blades. Absolutely no flex at all.
They look nice mounted in the case. Even the stickers on mine were centered nicely.
Cons: None that I can find honestly.
Overall Review: Pigtail is really really long and the wiring seems thicker than normal. This is a good thing for standard cases. But the long wiring might be something to know about in a small case maybe. Thought I might point that out.
This fan on high can move huge amounts of air! I was impressed when I forced them on high.
Build quality really is great on these. The frame and blades have no flex at all in them. The plastic used seems to be high quality and doesn't have that cheap plastic smell to them at all. I really do recommend these fans. I tried to find a con because there is always something but I really couldn't fine one. One thing I do want to point out is I'm not sure how these are magnetic levitation fans considering they would fly apart if the fans just sat in there. The fans don't come out at all. I can tell you I have another corsair fan that is a bearing fan and these blades do seem to coast longer than that other fan.
Pros: - Extremely Quiet
- Move large amounts of air
- Can spin at exceptionally low RPM
Cons: - Price
Overall Review: I've used a large variety of fans for PC cases, and I was hesitant at first to purchase these as it seemed silly to spend such large amounts of money for fans. However, these fans are incredible. I have had them for years with no issues or failures. And after installation, my computer runs nearly silently and the noise level dropped a couple of decibels.
I have installed these fans on cases, radiators and even behind fin mesh screens, and they work excellent as static pressure fans or for air flow. You can simply plop these fans anywhere and they will work which is amazing.
I was also a bit worried about the magnetic component potentially creating mounting issues when placing the fan vertically due to gravity, but the magnets are strong enough to resist the force of gravity.
The power management on the fans are also absolutely incredible. As I am able to run the fans at ~300RPM (apply any less power simply causes them to not power on).
I'll also note that I upgraded to these fans from stock case fans. In this sense, it was a worthwhile upgrade. However, if you've already bought decent after-market fans, the cost of upgrading will probably not be worth the money.
Pros: They work, they're pretty quiet, they're cheap. Using these as intake fans, along with 2 NZXT exhaust fans that came with the case.
Cons: They don't actually levitate.
