Will this fit Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming-ITX/ac AM4 ?

I checked the provider website of your motherboard and it clearly says that it supports PCIe 3 x4 M.2 NVME SSD drive This drive should work on it without any issue. Open the CPU tower and loook at the montherboard. There must be a section for M.2 SSD drive with a label on it about PCIe spped. Is should say PCIe 3 x4 NVME.

Would this SSD be compatible with the ASRock Z390 Steel Legend (300 Series) mobo?

Yes, that should work just fine. I have (2) MP510 drives, one with a x370 board and one with a H370M board. Both systems work great. The z390 board you are looking at is nicer than either of my two systems and the z390 supports a 2280 sized M.2 PCIe SSD so you're good to go.

Will this product fit MacBooks with PCe memory from the factory? Will it require an adapter?

Older MacBooks I’m not sure. You’d probably have to open it up and measure the length of the old stick, and check the pins in the interface. I think some might’ve had a proprietary pin out. No adapters for such a thing I’m aware of; it’s too tight in there. Newer MacBooks (at least my 2016 MacBook Pro and onwards) it won’t work at all. All their storage and ram chips are soldered straight to the logic board. Have to replace the whole board if you want to upgrade.
