Is this system sealed meaning the coolant will "never" have to be changed like other models on the market?

My understanding is yes. We have it on a fatality x399 board and TR2950x. It's wonderful.
It has enhance fan and lighting controls that allow you to set it for any variable you wish. Noise, performance, and of course temp. It is the best cooler I have owned to date, including liquid systems I have built myself.

my motherboard has a 4pin cpu connector will this work?

Yes, the hardware will be compatible. However the software still hasn't gotten a fix for the disconnecting issue, and I would still advise against buying this product. Don't support companies that release half-baked products. The bug has existed for 6 months now and I still haven't been able to properly use my cooler because of it.

Question 3

Do you need a reservoir and/or pump for this? What do you even need? I'm a noob to liquid cooling and want to cool two AM4 CPUs (not dual-socketed, one will be an upgrade: Ryzen 3 2200g and Ryzen 7 2700x

You don’t need anything, it’s “All In One” (AIO). There’s even thermal paste already applied to the cooling surface. Just plug everything in and go.

Will this cooler work on the i7-9700k?

Yes, I have an i7 9700k, and it does a very good job.  I've OCed mine to 5.1 Ghz and thermals in the mid to upper 70s under stress.  Normal operating temps are solid, 50 or under.

Is the pre-applied thermal paste any good or should I rub it off with isopropyl alcohol and use my own?  Has anybody anywhere done any measured performance comparisons?

If you’re planning on extreme overclocking then apply you’re own but other than that the pre applied paste is fine

Does this work for the i7-9700k cpu?

It should. I use this with an i9-9900k which is effectively the same LGA1151 socket, and the same power (95W). The back plate is adjustable (something I didn’t notice initially) so that it should fit different motherboards.

Yes it does. But don’t buy the 9900k anymore. The Ryzen 3900x smokes it.

Can the fans be linked to a light node pro module?

This unit should be plugged into the CPU fan header on the motherboard.  However, the Corsair lighting controller with their software will control the unit very nicely.  My unit works great.

Does this unit work with Intel Core i9-9900K LGA 1151 socket?

It Will, but if you want to consider overclocking the I9-9900k, I would consider upgrading the size to the 360mm // three fan one. It works great with my i7-7700k, but it might need help with the slightly beefier CPU. Now I don't know your rig setup/ budget and do know if that fits your capabilities. I wouldn't downgrade from corsair as this product has been great and the ICUE RGB software is great once you figure it out. Hopefully this helps you out!
