I took a look on a couple of websites and this memory should work in this computer but the datasheet from ACER says that the maximum memory you can put into that laptop is only 8 GB. That leads me to believe there is only one memory slot and this is a package for 2 ram sticks. You could buy this and upgrade to that 8gb but I think you would be wasting some of your money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233264 that seems to be the single stick package

It looks as though your QOSMIO X875-Q7190 has four slots, three of which are occupied for a total of 12 gigs.

It looks as though this memory would work. It would physically fit. This ram module is low voltage. I can't find the voltage rating for the ram presently in your machine.

If you are looking to upgrade it would be best to get another module that is the same as is presently in you machine or buy four that are alike.

For a machine with four slots it is sometime difficult to access all of the slots and may require significant dis-assembly.

Yes. The DDR3L is basically a way of saying that they run at 1.35volts. Normally they are referred to as DDR3 sodimm. The memory you are looking to buy is compatable. Just be sure and check your bios and make sure your at 1.35volts on your current memory; and if so you are safe purchasing them. Cheers!

It states online that your notebook comes standard with 8GB of memory.  Just curious on what you plan to do with 16GB of RAM?  Nonetheless, your system should be compatible with it.  I suggest you download CPUz and take a look at what memory you have on board.  It will give you a better idea of what you are working with.

I have a Lenovo T540P. It comes with two hynix  HMT451S6AFR8A-PB. They are 1600MHz, latency 11-11-11-28 and 1.35 voltage. I wonder if I could use this kit to replace the hynix ones?

I put 16g Corsair Vengeance 1.35V in my Lenovo y-40 and it worked perfectly. The latency isnt so much a compatibility issue, my stock ram was latency 11 and the Corsair is 9 and it works just fine. just make sure that the voltage is the same or the motherboard can handle higher voltage so you dont overheat it and/or fry the dimm slots. My DIMM slots have a rating of 1.5v (the rating is on the slot itself, stamped into the plastic so it may be hard to see without good lighting) but I went with 1.35v to keep the heat to a minimum, still runs just as good as the 1.5v though.

Lenovo's website says that the laptop was fitted with "2GB PC3-10600 DDR3L SDRAM 1333 MHz". 204 pin DDR3 ram should fit (assuming they made the ram accessible/replaceable) in a DDR3L slot, but keep in mind that the power usage will be much higher than the DDR3L ram (if you had 2 ram slotted, battery life will be about halved, if you had 1 slotted, it will be cut to a quarter roughly. Of course, these effects only happen at maximum usage. I use a Tecra and used to have about 4 hours battery life at maximum usage, this cut me down to 1, but for the purpose the computer serves it was worth it.)

It will work very well; don't trust the limits that Acer writes in their user manuals when dealing with RAM. As long as you have an x64 operating system it will take all 16 Gbs and help run your computer better; however, you are using an obsolete C: drive. You will do well to combine the upgrade you are doing by installing a SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E500B/AM which sells here for $139.00, which is a good price. You can migrate your present data to this new drive with tools from Samsung, and Samsung has about the best "live human " customer service in the business. If you want a ten-year warranty and the best pure (not hybrid) SSD made get this: SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7KE512BW which is $213.00. The extra 12 Gb is reserved for speed--and this drive is the best in the business and made by a quality company. Be careful buying SSDs as some of them can fail quickly, and this is being seen more and more as companies (who shouldn't be making SSDs) rush new designs on the market without properly making or testing their new products. If you purchase this combination and install it you will greatly extend the life of your laptop and will be able to use these in a new one because these are quality products that are worth buying and you will be very happy with a computer that started out as slow as a Model T and now moves like an SST! It will be 1700 times faster-going from 17.0 ms read search time to .0017 or less. Move into the 21st century, you'll never want to go back-read the comments on the SSDs and see for yourself!
