Question 1

Do you have to over clock this memory to reach the 1600 specs? 
I looked in my HP PC's bios and could not find any way to overclock memory.

Hi Ken,
Basically it is overclocked.  On my Gigabyte X79 UD5, I have chosen the memory profile 1, and enhanced performance setting.  I think that a lot of memory has to be overclocked these days to achieve the frequency that the manufacturers advertise.
Memory is stable and runs cool......

I'm using this memory on the Asus Z87 Deluxe/Quad, standard configuration and have experienced no issues. The install was successful out of the box. To date I'm very happy with the performance and hope to see the current install provide many years of service.

Not positive but don't think so, given that this is 240pin RAM and your Mac most likely takes 204 pin. My advice is go to the Apple site and look up RAM compatibility. I tried to post the link but Newegg wont allow it.

Hello I built a high end system and used this memory, I have had zero problems and I'm very pleased with the performance. It may have been overkill but 32 seems to work very well and I have no latency slowdowns due to memory. I do recommend this if you can afford it due to the great reliability.

Will these work on a 27" iMac ?

I is a great product, but like any other memory you have to run at first time, deep/full memory scan/analysis, to identify bad sector.

When I bought this I had two slots wrong and sent it back to Corsair, Customer Services were good so I got my new memory.

Until then and till today, is working perfect.

I can have 6 to 10 Virtual PC, but highly recommended two CPU to do that. :). I just have one FX8350

What is the exact height of the memory stick? I want to be sure that it doesn't interfere with anything in my rig.

Sprey it is in the computer. It was the exact length of the ones I removed. It is a standard format. Check replacement tables. You should be able to input you existing memory sticks, or motherboard and get memory that works.

Would this work on a dell precision t7500? I am trying to find ram with ecc since non-ecc dimms do not work on my workstation.

Will these work in a 2010 6 core mac pro if I replaced all modules with these?

I don't know a whole lot about the Mac however I do know that the Mac Pro requires ECC memory I don't believe that those memory modules are ECC

You should refer to your user manual for the dell computer, to ensure it supports this speed of memory. You will also need to ensure what memory it supports, such as ddr 2 or ddr 3.
