I noticed how a lot of ram states it's designed for intel platforms but I assume all DDR4 memory will work fine with x370 and Ryzen?

Yes. I believe this ram will work fine with Ryzen... But not all ram! Many people have problems with certain ddr4 ram types because the ram they use is overclocked to over 3000 mhz. This is below that threshold, most don't have problems with ddr4 2666mhz ram. Eventually though, I'm sure the bios of these sockets will be adapted to include higher frequencies. But if you are still unsure just look up the compatibility of this kit. I'm sure you'll find a more detailed response.

Question 2

Will these sticks work with the ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 motherboard? I'm having a hard time understanding the QVL list, this is my first build.

I realize this is far after you have resolved the question, but I would check with the CPU you intend to install into the board, most of your compatibility issues come from the CPU, not the motherboard. This memory should work fine, if compatible with your CPU.

Can you please let me know whether the 8GB version supports ASUS Z270F Strix gaming motherboard ?

According to ASUS STRIX Z270F specification, it supports this RAM, but it will work only with 2133 MHz frequency.  However, if you will overclock your motherboard, you will be able to use your RAM with 2666MHz frequency.
